Does as stated. Keeps avocados of various sizes and no browning after 2 or 3 days.

This storage container works well for its intended purpose. I have a few & use them to store other produce, as well, such as halved red sweet peppers & 2 to 3 peeled boiled eggs . I started with a variant that had an opaque lid, but prefer these with clear lids, because of easy contents identification.

Not so happy with it. First avocados that are cut in half vertically can't fit, it must be cut in half horizontally... seems wrong because It exposes more of the avocado to get rot. Second, the avocado had brown spots on after one day. A LOT of them. I googled it and it said it was safe to eat since it wasn't black and only one day, but not what I was looking for. Third the container is VERY difficult to open. There is no lever or slot to grab onto to open it. Having a tight close makes sense to preserve, but there has to be an easier way to open it. I had to use a sharp knife to dig in the side, which is not safe. This wasn't expensive, so returning it is more hassle than is worth. But it's a waste. I don't recommend.

To me it’s nothing special, just a plastic container shaped like an avocado. I kept the pit in the uneaten side Which made it tight to close. You have to fiddle with it a bit to get it to open. The avocado still discolored With that said it works OK. IN HINDSIGHT, ID SAVE MY $ not recommended.

People have unrealistic expectations for these avocado keepers. There are tons of reviews wherein the writer is complaining about how these devices don't do anything better than a plastic bag. They're probably right and the reason is that the mechanisms of preservation in the bag and this device are exactly the same. The goal of these keepers is to minimize air to avocado surface area contact, so as to minimize oxidation. They both do exactly the same thing, so you should expect similar performance. This device is useful because it helps preserve, but also keeps my soft avocado safe in a hard storage case. This is a hard case that protects the avocado, doesn't waste or dirty up a bag, is really easy to clean, and preserves an avocado for probably about 2 days if you get a good clean cut and smooth surface on it. Is it going to prevent 100% of avocado oxidation even over a 24 hour period? No, it won't. But nothing will, so get over your complaints. This thing costs $4 and does a great job of holding, protecting, and preserving an avocado half for the short time you need it to

Very small , I found it a joke, I can't return it, opened package late, waste of money, it is going to garbage

Me equivoqué de tamaño, no sabía que había más grandes, porque este se queda un poco pequeño para el tamaño de los aguacates

This works well, it is easy to clean and keeps avocados nice and fresh. It is made of solid plastic and find that it closes with a good seal to keep things fresh inside. I work recommend this.

Now this has been great, not only is this fun it’s also really practical! It keeps half an avocado incredibly fresh, if you leave stone in it last even longer and I pop it in the dishwasher afterwards and it’s stayed looking great and doing its job.
