Arducam IMX477 Autofocus and Software-Controlled Focus HQ Camera, 12MP 100° FOV Camera Module Compatible with Nvidia Jetson Orin NX/AGX Orin, M12 Lens

Had initial problems due to using an incorrect cable. Improved documentation would be helpful. Support resolved the issue and sent me the correct cable at no charge. I offered to pay, but they would not accept my money.

Das Arducam Kameramodul liefert grundsätzlich eine gute Bildqualität mit scharfen Aufnahmen und einem angenehm großen Sichtfeld. Der Autofokus funktioniert meist zuverlässig und die Kamera lässt sich gut mit NVIDIA Jetson-Systemen kombinieren. Besonders für Projekte im Bereich KI oder Robotik ist das interessant. Allerdings ist die Einrichtung nicht immer so einfach wie erwartet. Gerade die Software und Treiber wirken teilweise noch unausgereift, wodurch es bei Updates oder bestimmten Systemversionen zu Problemen kommen kann. Auch der Autofokus reagiert manchmal etwas langsam oder pumpt kurz nach, bevor das Bild scharf wird. Das Gehäuse und das Objektiv machen zudem keinen besonders hochwertigen Eindruck. Für Bastel- und Entwicklungsprojekte durchaus brauchbar, aber insgesamt nicht ganz so problemlos und hochwertig wie erhofft.

Connector too brital, the latch came out, now not holding the cable

Hi, I also posted a question regarding this issue but didn't receive any response. Not sure where to turn to get this camera to work with Jetson Nano. Appreciate any help or please send me a warranty replacement. Thanks.

Camera quality is fairly good but won’t blow you out of the water. The small plastic clip also broke or was broken out of the box. I ended up upgrading to a ZED camera.
