Normally I don't write reviews but I was happy with the shell I got. It was a good size and the shimmer on it was throughout the shell so it didn't look dull. Also, there was no chipping on mine so it was one nice whole piece. I keep my meditation bracelets in it and I love it. Thank you!

I don't know what was wrong with my 1st review, but trying 1 more time.I ordered 6.5" and received exactly what I ordered. It arrived fast and was packaged very well to protect from shipping damage.This shell is huge.There's room for a little bit of sand in the bottom and it easily holds a full Sage bundle as well as smudging stick, with room to spare.Its very sturdy and all natural. This is a great addition to your meditation ritual, to aid your spiritual work in warding off evil spirits and all negative energy.I would highly recommend that anyone who's just getting into this, to not buy a "beginners kit" as I found the shell provided with those are just too small & can inadvertently cause a fire Hazzard (you'd have smoldering ashes dropping to the floor & igniting anything flammable.With this shell you can put a Palo Stick on the bottom and stager your sage on top, or visa versa & have them both smoldering, safely, being extinguished in the bottom bit of sand.Word of advice, do not skip the sand in the bottom because not only does it extinguish your ashes as they fall, but you can gently put out your sage bundle/stick easier and safer.I highly recommend this.You won't go wrong.(from JGS350 on August 13, 20206.5" Abalone Shell for White Sage SmudgingOrdered the 6.5" and its a lot bigger than you'd think.Plenty of room for a full sage bundle with Palo Smudge stick.)
