Just like oem, mine were flat spotted and these had much more rubber on them. Everything bolted up nicely.

Broken rear shock mounts seem to be a chronic problem with Mazda 3s in a string of successive model years. My right one went at about 85K miles, and the left one just went at 100K. They're relatively easy to fix if you have a deep socket wrench set and some patience. Plenty of YouTube videos can show you how. The Dormans are an exact replacement, less expensive than others, and do the job fine. If I keep this car for another 100K miles I suspect these will crack too. They don't rust out. These are stress fractures from bearing the brunt of constant up and down motion, and the aluminum just gives out. If you want something that lasts longer, look for a more durable, more expensive replacement. I took my chances with these. So far so good.

Good sturdy item, still holding together tightly

My 2014 Ford ST was rattling something fierce one day - did a little inspection and quickly found the issue - the old shock mount had rotten through. Came here to Amazon, did a quick search and found this one. Bought two, actually, and changed both at once. These worked perfectly and we're back to quiet, smooth sailin'!

This was a perfect replacement for a 2013 Volvo S40. There are heavier duty ones out there, but this is OEM quality.

As advertised, met all OEM specifications. Appearance wise, looked just like the original mount on the other side. Short an sweet, easy to install and it fit like a glove. Defenately recommended.

Mazda 3's of a certain vintage use these mounts and they eventually fail, I've done 3 cars so far.15-30 minute job a side (depending on experience) and the car is good as new.- jack up car, remove wheel- remove upper nuts in wheel well- remove lower shock bolt- remove shock assy from car- install new mount on shock- remount assembly in car and torque to specsIt fit properly with OEM bump stop and still good OEM shock. I've also used other aftermarket shocks in the past with these and had no issues.For an OEM style replacement this seems like a good choice.

The mount fits as good as OEM. A quick easy swap and my Mazda 5 is back on the road.Besides the cheap no padding and no bag packaging the only complaint I have are the nuts included. They didn't fit as smoothly as the ones from my previous mount install and they have too big of an outside chamfer seems like they'll designed to strip when aged. I cleaned up the old nuts in some vinegar and used them instead.

Work well, do not make the same mistake as I did and only change one as the other failed a week later.
