Grohe faucets are high quality. They work for decades. The two in my kitchen are now 20 years old. The spray head doesn’t last that long. Original lasted about 12 years before the spray head would not switch to spray. OEM replacement cost around a hundred. Lasted 8 years. Same problem: The button to spray stopped working. Got this. In manufacturing's quality it is far lower quality than Grohe; weighs far less than original. . But it works, at a third of the oem version cost from years ago. Installment involves screwing old one off an old one on. There is a an O ring - a new one was provided. I kept the old one. Saved the new O ring for later. If it last for a few years, I am good. And the spray button on this one stays on!! If you have the old version, you know! This is our spray for plates going to dish washer. Like that. I bought another for later use. Grohe faucets last longer than I do, but I have a cheap replacement sprayer to attach. I have another kitchen sink that may need it. Good price.

The rubber cover on my original 8 year old Lady Lux Grohe faucet sprayer fell apart. I contacted Grohe to buy a replacement rubber piece and was told I would have to replace the entire sprayer part for $249. I bought this one on Amazon. It was a cinch to switch out and works even better than my original one. The spray is stronger. Even if it doesn’t last 8 more years, I can buy 5 more and still be ahead of the game!

Although this replacement spray head doesn't seat onto the neck of the faucet tube as securely or as well as the original made by Grohe, it's quite satisfactory and looks identical even up close. As installed, the new head performs just as well as the old one, perhaps a bit better since I left out the flow restrictor. Installation was a matter of unscrewing the old spray head, putting on new O rings and screwing in the new one. I updated my review and added a star because the spray head does seat into the faucet neck quite well, it was just tight initially and seemed as though it wasn't a good fit. On the contrary, it's quite good. The installation instructions printed on the box are misleading and not helpful. There are two sizes of replacement O rings included - two apiece which is helpful in case you lose one. The larger goes on the tube of the spray handle which connects into the faucet neck and screws into the pull out water delivery cable. This O ring should go on over the black plastic tube coming out of the spray handle and butt up against the screw threads of the spray handle. The smaller O ring is a replacement for an O ring which sits just behind the tip of the water delivery cable. At about $30, this was a bargain, keeping this rather expensive faucet working instead of having to shell out $200 to $400 for something comparable in a new faucet.

Lightweight plastic wand that doesn’t fit the Grohe flexible hose well, resulting in a leak at the connection. They send you a larger washer to install on the hose, but then the hose wouldn’t fit a Grohe OEM spray wand. So when the plastic wand fails within a year (see the other one star review), you will need to either replace the washer or the entire hose in order to connect your new OEM wand.

As others have noted, the tube that slides onto the existing hose fitting is a little larger than the tube on the original wand head. That's why it comes with a new O-ring and a flexible washer. Pay attention: It is noted on the box that if it leaks from this connection, you should install those, and it shows you how. I found the flexible washer fixed the leak, so I saved the new O-ring for possible future use. Aside from that, it works well. For how long, I don't know...

Much better price than the genuine Grohe replacement faucet. Works great and actually might be better than the original Grohe faucet. How? I like that when you switch from the single stream to the power stream, and then turn off the faucet and then turn it back on, it doesn't automatically go back to the single stream. You have to switch it back from the power stream to the single stream. Maybe some like the automatic feature of the original faucet, but we're all buying this faucet because the original faucet from Grohe eventually went bad, and it's possible that it went bad because of that design feature. I'm not sure of my theory, but what I am sure of, is this replacement faucet is cheaper than the original Grohe faucet, and it's cheaper than buying and installing a brand new faucet. And this comes with some new o-rings. It also fits like a glove over the original faucet end.

Works really well, better than name brand.

Is this as nice as the Grohe spray head, nope. But in searching to buy the Black version of the Grohe handheld was over $100 dollars, just the Black version, so for the $30 this works just don't expect the same panache.

Es war nicht ganz leicht, die erste von einem anderen Hersteller passte leider nicht, so haben wir diese gewählt. Sie passt zu Grohe, funktioniert einwandfrei.
