Do the trays & lid snap on so it can with a roll up travel mat?

If you’re asking if the lids snap on to travel with it alone with a rolled up mat - the answer is probably not. When I first got the the trays were hard to get apart (never the lid). Now after using them on several puzzles they are not loose but don’t snap together tightly. One other thing to consider is that if the trays tip some pieces will flip over. They are great for home use and work well. It’s ice to be able to hand wash them to get all the fingerprints off and puzzle dust.

Is this dishwasher safe

As these trays aren't stamped as dishwasher safe, I would not recommend cleaning them in the dishwasher. Puzzle dust...ugh! Instead I use a swifer and a soft rag to clean them. I still love these puzzle sorters!

I just got this. The top tray is stuck to the lid. There are only 7 usable trays. Any way to unstick it?

I didn't have a problem with the lid completely sticking to the tray, you may consider returning it for an exchange, I really love my trays and use them frequently and the only time I nest them completely is when our grandchildren are around, btw I love these sorters!
