It worked the first time I wore it. I wear it at work while on the computer. It is possible I have some carpal tunnel, but I've never had it diagnosed. I do know that without something on my right wrist, the part of the hand that rests on the cushion part of the keyboard hurts/aches all the time. (I bought myself a MS ergonomic keyboard with wrist rests from desertcart, a long time ago and a tray that makes it lower than desk height). The ergonomic keyboard itself helped a lot in keeping the hands in a more natural position! I now, though, have I presume, some circulation issues in my right hand especially, along with what I feel is some nerve issues with carpal tunnel. I have had an Imak wrist support for a long time (with the beaded insulation for the heel of the hand) It's 'toast' now, lol' all worn out since I've worn it so much. Lately it has not been working so well with either the pins and needles feelings, pain or numbness in my right hand fingers. I may even have a touch of arthritis, lol. Again, not diagnosed - age happens! I decided to try this. It fits beyond the wrist area, as you can probably tell by the picture. It is a non-issue for me. I just wear my watch on the other wrist at work and skip my bracelets on that wrist. I am on the computer a lot at work. It is a wrist brace and as it says on the instructions; make it as snug as you wish-everyone is different. It is also is sized with the velcro tabs. I don't think a size was offered when I bought this recently; really, the tabs adjust to size it. The brace keeps my wrist more stable and feeling in my fingers! And I do not have the pain. I'm 64 yrs. young; still about 30 at heart! My wrist size; 7.5-8. I've included a pic, if that helps anyone. Review: Very Good Fit and Results - Hurt my Right Wrist while doing some work. Had pain, swelling, and could not lift anything heavier than a Toothbrush. I started using the Copper Fit Compression Wrist Sleeve as soon as it arrived and experienced some progress after the first 6 hours of use. The pain, swelling went away after three or four days of use during day time only, regained full use of hand. I recommend.
