Frays
Good product. I was missing a way to do pressdowns, pulldowns, etc in my garage gym. This is the perfect solution. I have seen significant strength gains since using this.Edit: The cable has started to fray. It is starting to cut my hands during use. I have contacted Spud for a replacement cable since I have only had this a few months. There has been no response. I will be buying a replacement cable in order to continue using. I recommend building you own system. It would save you money in the long run.

Great for home gym!
I am very pleased with this pulley system. It’s a great addition to my home gym. I set it up on my rouge folding rack with my pull-up bar set about 7ft high. I ordered the 18 inch loading strap because I only use bumper plates at home at its great! The cable is incased in a rubber tube to avoid it from fraying. In terms of doing the movements, I do have to sit on the floor for lat pull downs and kneel for tricep push downs to get the full range of motion. (No big deal)

Great value for the price
Been using this for a week now and I find that it delivers as advertised. Yes, the weight can swing a bit but as others have said, it isn't difficult to manage around that; for me, I find that it just forces very strict form which I appreciate. The hand straps provided with the rig are adequate for ab work, some pulldown exercises, and some pressdown/extension exercises as well, but you will definitely want to consider a more comprehensive set of handles/bars to really take full advantage of the rigI have exposed beams in my garage which I attached it to but I found it quite difficult to use the strap provided. The beams are 2X6 and while it may be possible to attach the pulley with the strap provided, I found it too challenging for this size beam and ended up using some chain instead (see picture). This did lower the rig a bit and require me to use a shorter stool/bench for my pulldowns (I am 6' 2") so consider this if you have a similar setup, or just using shorter chain would do the trick as well. When doing the pulldowns, 45# plates are most awkward as I need to move my seating position further out of true vertical orientation in respect to the overhead pulley for the weight plates to clear my bench during the reps, but 25# plates and smaller are no problem at allMy standing exercises (tricep work, straight-arm pressdowns, etc) worked perfectly and the swinging of the weight stack is much less of a concern for these as are any clearance issues pertaining to larger weight plates. In summary, it is not as capable as a proper pulldown rack but it operates in a much smaller footprint, definitely gets the job done, and is a great value for the price

Good Cable Option for Rack
I had my own gym setup pre-COVID19. But, I was missing a couple of exercise options. This fit the bill and is solidly built. I can now include Tricep stuff, rows and other cable motions. You just have to watch out for the plates swinging like a pendulum when you get in a rhythm. But, the components are good quality and concept works well for what this is. It won't replace a full lat pull down station. But, it's a fraction of the size and price.

Great product, great value.
Very happy with this purchase. Great value for the money. Easy on and easy off. Fits perfectly on our rack. Because it’s on a strap, you just need to make sure there is a little angle when lifting so the weights don’t hit.

I like the way this one works
I wish I heard about this sooner. I added a dozen new exercises in my home garage gym. On youtube, there are instructional vids to show you how to make it for $20. But the make it yourself version looks so cheap. I like the way this one works. Its cleaner. I have a 6 ft pull up bar and I attach this. Works great out of the box.

Great customer service. High value product
I have had item since mid-July. This week plastic coating on cable frayed and separated. HOWEVER got hold of seller who sent me replacement at no charge that has worked flawlessly

I like the product
I like the product, I really do, and incorporate it daily into my workout routine. So far so good and I think the product will stand the test of time. The stitching seems good, won't come undone, unless heavily abused. There are two things I would change.1st - the cable is too long. It's advertised to fit a 6-7 foot rig, which it does. But being 6' tall myself, in order to get a full range of motion for triceps pushdowns I need to squat down and take a step or two back. Using a rig with the setup 7' high, a cable approximately 12" shorter it would be better, in my opinion.2nd - the cable is open and my hair, while short, has gotten caught and ripped out. I really wish there was plastic tubing around the metal cable to prevent this mishap from occurring. I really hope the cable doesn't start fraying.Overall however, the carabiner allows for various different attachments allowing for exercise variety, perfect for limited (size and budget) garage gyms
