Clarks Men's Stinson Lo Boot

I alway buy clarks for all use for the lass 35 years. This absolutely the worst quality i ever see. Every thing is terrible about this product. I get the same style 8 years ago and decided to get the black for work. Bad idea this is not good for walking , standing or sitting its a safety hazard. will be trashing it before i brake my leg or blow out my knee.

I have owned Clarks before - many years ago and many foot widening miles ago. Then, the shoes were wide enough; now not so much. For this purchase, I filled in a little questionnaire about my usual size and width - 10 extra wide. The answer came back that size 10 would fit. The shoes I received were labeled 10 medium, not unexpected, but they weren't close to medium width. They were much narrower than the usual 10 M.The company could have eliminated the hassle of returning the shoes by telling me in the first place that the shoes wouldn't fit. They had the information.

The reason I have liked Clarks shoes in the past is that the shoes that I have purchased in the past DO NOT have the inner lining in them that so many shoe makers are putting in their shoes. The inner lining almost guarantees that the shoes will not breathe as shoes made of only leather do. When shoes have this lining in them they are like wearing Saran wrap on your feet, i.e., hot and sweaty. Although the Stinson Lo Boot feels quite comfortable on my feet I am making up my mind as to whether or not I'll return them because of the inner lining. I can only think the inner lining is being used by the maker to then use thinner leather, thus cut cost and sadly sacrifice quality.

With the majority of Clarks shoes being produced in other countries, I have had some very bad disappointments with my old favorites. These are not Wallabees, but they fit and feel like the ones that use to be made in the U.S and England. I don't know if I just got lucky with this pair, but I will be buying another pair for the wife. They fit comfortable right out of the box, just like my old Wallabees. The size was dead on since I went down a half size. Just a note, in my experience, always go down a half size with the beeswax they will always stretch with wear but with suede, stick with your normal size, the tend to mold to the foot rather than stretch.

I wondered about the approximate $90 price difference between this Stinson Lo Boot and the classic Clarks Originals Wallabee. As far as I can tell the only significant difference is that the original Wallabees have a natural crepe sole and the Stinsons have a synthetic sole. Actually I find the man made bottoms wear better and are still very comfortable.I recommend them both, but the Stimson is the better buy.

This is a very comfortable shoe and as far as I can tell it does breathe. The shoe is so light you barely notice you are wearing them, but the built is solid, not flimsy at all. The leather looks a little coarse but it's real leather not man-made synthetic. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the front of the shoe looks a little boxy and too square. It does not have that sleek look of previous models. However this is a minor inconvenience. i wore these in a downpour and my feet were completely dry. just what I was looking for.

I have been wearing these shoes ever since I got them. My wife actually got these for me as a gift. Granted, I knew it once she made the order since we share the same amazon account, but still a surprise gift :)Very comfortable shoe. I did wear them on concrete for 9 hours with little to no sitting down, and they did start hurting my feet after about 4 hours. So, these are not great for more than 4 hours of standing on concrete. But, if you are sitting most of them time, they work well! I had another pair of shoes with cushioned insoles to wear the next few days.Pros:+ Comfortable+ Stylish+ Fits GreatI would recommend to all who do not stand up for too long on concrete!

Actually received the Beeswax color which is darker than the pictured Clark Stinson Lo. Which is actually the color that i prefer. Been wearing Clarks Wallabee and Stinsons for years. This style with the thicker bottom can take harsh punishment for years. Last pair was 6 years old before I retired them. I wear a size 10.5 in most everything and normally have width issues I'm to big for normal and too small for extra wide and after wearing for a week or so these always loosen up and adapt to my feet and feel amazing. I work in a million square foot factory and walk on concrete all day and never have any issues what soever. If you are looking for true fit, comfort, style with any type of dress, and a shoe/boot built to last. These are it.

Husband had a pair of these as a teenager and is so happy to have another pair. Fit is true to size and excellent quality and comfortable.

The rubber sole split open on the left heel. Now my left shoe makes an annoying puff sound with each step as air blows out of the sole. Massively disappointing.
