Awesome poacher
Absolutely love poached eggs and this is the closest thing I’ve found that is even close to the poacher I grew up with. Still getting used to temperature control of my stove and the poacher too but it is great

Great working cooking utensils
I’m really happy with the poacher. (size and non-stick cups. Great stainless steel , very light weight. it cleans well . just saw water residue in pot after boiling which was hard to remove. it could be do to the hard alkaline water coming out of faucet

I like the egg poacher
This is a nice sturdy and apparently well made egg poacher. It fits together well, and is easy to clean. The water simmered quickly and it cooked my eggs well. The little scraper spatula worked well to remove my eggs. My only issue is that the position the handles for the egg cups need to be in to fit to the lid was a little uncomfortable for me, but I have large hands, so the problem could just be mine. I like this product.

Good value
Materials and craftsmanship similar to the Sur la Table unit costing four times as much. The cup lift rings are removable and aren't really necessary - just use the knob in the center of the cup support to lift or lower all four cups at the same time. A 2" wide silicone spoon is useful to scoop out the cooked eggs.

No talent or experience needed to poach with this!
This is fabulous! I can't poach at all, but this thing can. It's easy and quick. I have a gas stove. Fill the pot with about half a half inch of water, put to boil. Meanwhile, spray or grease the little pots, crack the eggs into them. When the water is boiling (which it probably is at this point) put the tray with the little poach pots onto the pot, cover and lower to simmer. Between 4-5 mins you'll have poached eggs. You really can see through the lid, and the white of the eggs will slowly turn from watery to white. You can jiggle them too. When you like them, take the lid off and pick up the tray - tongs work bests for me. Put the poach tray on a heat resistant surface, when the tray hits the flat surface the four little poach pots stand up and can easily be grasped by their handles with a cloth, or wait a minute and use your bare hands. Some things to note: 1) I do think you have to use butter or oil with this. 2) The edges on the poach tray are a little rough so you could scrape your skin if it's sensitive when you're cleaning. 3) Clean up really is a breeze, all the cooking is done by steaming. 4) I don't have a dish washer but I would still recommend cleaning the poach pots by hand. Bottom line: I think this is an excellent way to easily poach eggs. It doesn't take any expertise.

Hoy lo usé por primera vez. El resultado fue muy bueno. Los huevos quedaron como de restaurante japonés - así me dijeron en casa - las instrucciones son muy simples. Lo mejor es que el precio es bastante económica

After reading the reviews of the many egg poachers, this one seemed to have everything we wanted: only four cups, compact, non-stick. But, I worried about the cup size (since we use jumbo eggs) and whether the metal was thin. There was no need to worry: The stainless steel pan and lid are solid, with a noticeable heft. And, our jumbo eggs fit snugly inside the cups, no overflow. We used a non-stick spray on the cups before poaching and the eggs slid right out! Starting with hot water from the tap, it took nine minutes and, with the see-through lid, it was easy to see when they were ready.
