Great Replacement for an Old Toolbox with Mini-Toolbox Sidekick
My old toolbox lasted about 25 years when the plastic handle broke. I continued to use it for another 5 years, having to lug it around with both arms because finding a replacement was so difficult. Finally, I found this OEMTOOLS one and it does the job. My old toolbox was 22 inches long and held everything except my power drill. This OEMTOOLS box is the closest I have found in 5 years of searching. It is 20 inches long. My old toolbox had a lot of compartments for storing screws and other miscellaneous parts. This new toolbox has five chambers for storing parts, not as much as my old toolbox but good enough. The compartments look like there are 3 on the left and 3 on the right, but actually, it is an illusion. There are just two on the left and two on the right. It is acceptable but I wish they didn't use deceptive tactics to pretend there are more compartments. I am including pictures of the old vs. new and then showing the two new toolboxes (the 20 inch and the 12 inch) with the tray outside and inside. The tray in the larger toolbox is 2 inches high. When it sits inside the toolbox, there are 5 inches depth for other tools and items. I decided to put my most frequently used tools in the smaller, lightweight toolbox and everything else in the larger one. A full sized hammer will NOT fit in the smaller toolbox, but that is okay with me. This way, when I do the majority of projects, I have a lightweight toolbox. I can lug around the heavier one on an as needed basis. The toolboxes have plastic handles just like my old toolbox, but knowing that such a handle can last 25 years I am not concerned about needing anything more heavy duty. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and ending my 5 year search for a replacement. The surprise 12 inch sidekick toolbox that came along for a nominal upcharge adds to my satisfaction.

Great box at a good value.
This toolbox is well-made and sturdy. I was upsizing from a crammed 16" box kept in my vehicle but did not want to exceed 19" due to space constraints when loading the cargo area for camping trips. I spent time comparing several 19" toolboxes and was most impressed by this one. It had a bit less internal capacity than others as it was more compact in width and height but more than enough for my use. Major pluses for me were the internal tray size and lay-out, the sturdy double latches and 40# rating, and the lid storage compartments. Very happy with this choice and I expect that it will serve me for some years as did my retired toolbox.

Big and great....
I was looking for a toolbox that could hold a drill and other tools. When this arrived I saw how big it was an was surprised how much room there was. The price, quality and storage room were greater than I expected. I would recommend this toolbox for anyone needing quite a bit of storage for their tools. Please know that the box is able to other than tools. Great value!

Heavy, but very nice
I almost returned this product because it was so heavy. I'm a petite woman and I wanted this to organize tools for my RV. I loved it -- the color pops and the drawers were lovely -- they're even linked. I was super excited about this toolbox except it was already heavy to carry when it was empty. Once I began putting tools in, it was apparent that I would not be able to carry it after it was full without risking muscle strain. But it was just before Father's Day and my dad who is impossible to shop for didn't have a good toolbox to keep on his workbench. I ended up giving it to him and when he saw it, he said, "Oh, that's a nice one." I could tell he was pleased. Since he'll leave it stationary, the weight isn't too much, even for his 85-year-old hands. If I wasn't heading off to be fulltime in an RV traveling the country and was keeping a home base, I would have kept it for my workbench. I'm happy to finally be able to give dad something he liked and could use.

Your standard, solid, "Basic Plastic Tool Box," but without brand name pricing.
Not much to say here. I bought these to house and organize my drills and rotary tools and they've been great. I wouldn't recommend these for heavy duty abuse situations, but I'd say they are great for home workshops, prop shops, and anyone that occasionally needs to take some tools out on a gig every once in a while. I also happen to love the green color since it stands out even in low light if I'm out late. Very happy with my purchase here. :)

Not sturdy and won’t last.
It’s quite a flimsy tool box. It is nice and big and all that but truly this thing is like a toy or for a sewing kit or something like that. It won’t last and already barely closes since the plastic is so thin and flimsy, it bends to one side and won’t close flat. I have to move it and so forth. I wouldn’t buy this again that’s for sure. I’ve gotten inexpensive plastic toolboxes before and they were way better than this one. I’m fairly disappointed but not that bad. It’s just a so so plastic toolbox. It will definitely be a short term thing though if you’re using this for real tools. Good luck!

I love the metal handles. They are much better then the plastic ones

A bit smaller than I was hoping and Metal buckles have sharp edges so had to grind down so I don’t cut myself but other than that it’s good
