Quality product
My mechanic wanted to purchase one from the dealership. The dealership price was outrageous, so I went with this one. It works perfectly and after several months I’m very pleased with it, and it resolved my truck’s faulty oil pressure drop alarm when the engine was sitting idled. Pleased with the quality and the price!

Good sensor! Learn how to install it correctly
Fit perfectly, used a 21mm, 1/2in drive, 12pt, chrome, deep socket, with a swivel attachment. Used it on my 2003 F150 4.2L V6. I got my oil pressure gauge to read properly again. Be careful when installing, the plastic is easy to break if you force it, and also it isn’t supposed to be super tight. Turn the sensor until it gets tougher to turn, and then leave it, it should NOT bottom out, or be torqued, it’s designed like that.

This was exactly what I needed to correct a problem with my F-150 oil pressure sensor now everything works perfectly thank you Amazon save me a lot of money

Replaced my faulty oil pressure sensor with this unit. Assumed it was working but still registered no oil pressure. After replacing pigtail lead to sensor and running other diagnostic tests I took the vehicle to a mechanic. After two hours of running other checks including pulling out gauge cluster to check pressure guage they replaced the purchased pressure sensor with another and the vehicle now is functioning properly. I spent over $400 to discover this pressure sensor was defective. I would suggest DO NOT PURCHASE THIS OIL PRESSURE SENSOR.

I tried to replace this myself but the connector was not willing to come off. Had to send to a mechanic but they had concerns. They installed the part but they said it didn't turn off the light. They replaced it with their own and that one work. So I would say that it worked partly.

I put this in my truck and its not reading any oil pressure now.

Took to local automotive dealership to have oil sensor replaced. Took everything apart, put in this oil sensor, put all back together and item was defective. Ended up having to order one through dealership, and then pay extra labour charges to have it all taken apart and put back together again. Do not recommend

This part does not work at all. Paid mechanic to install it and oil pressure sensor lights still on and dinging
