Stiff plastic over buttons
The buttons are VERY hard to push. My grandson (7) cannot push them to wake the tablet up or turn the volume up/down, so he pulls the cover off and uses the buttons on the tablet directly. I also though the back with the ‘nobblies’ would be great to grip, but they are not silicone, they are hard plastic so, while they can be gripped by your fingers, they aren’t soft to touch. Overall, it is a good case so far.

Good protection for the Fire tabs, not as anti-slip as we were hoping.
Wife wanted something to keep the tablet from sliding down her leg when she was sitting and surfing the web. I thought this would be a good solution. It fits the tablet very good but the power button is a bit hard to engage with the rubber cover over it and my wife says it does not really prevent sliding down her leg when sitting. It's better than with no protection in this regard but the rubber was not as soft and pliable as it would have to be to prevent sliding down the pants leg. Still it offers nice protection and the kickstand it does make hands free table viewing easier.
