Do they crimp barrell fittings?

this tool can not crimp at all, for stripping wires only

What are the exact dimensions of these strippers? I'm looking for something compact enough to fit into a small toolkit case.

The wire cutter is 6" long, the width of the grip is about 3 5/8" not depressed, and at the tip is about 1 3/16" not depressed. The thickest section across the length is 5/8" in the grip area. These measurements are by sight with a ruler.

Does it have a locking mechanism so it doesn't stay wide open?

Most of us who use this style of stripper... remove the spring so it doesn't self-open. It takes nothing to flick it open with your pinky or ring finger when you grab it. That auto-opening spring is annoying and it makes your forearm tired earlier in the day. Get rid of it.
