FDW | 5-Tier Wire Shelf | 36" x 14" x 72" | Black

Useful, sturdy product for my carport. I’m 5 feet tall and I need to stretch a little bit to reach the top shelf. Not too hard to assemble with two people.

Great for organizing my garage. Easy assembly and all parts were packaged well. Easy to adjust shelves and feels very sturdy and stable.

Needed this for storage unit. Brought another one and it worked out so I said see if I can get another one and was able to find this one. The size is 14" x 36" x 72", very easy assembly, like the look of it, looks nice nice to the other one I bought. Makes it look uniform and neat in the unit and helps with storing power tools and misc items. Especially those items you'll like to store up high and out the way. Easy to shift shelves around if you would like to make taller or shorter shelf space. Pretty good. Price was great

I have purchased several of these listed as (FDW) in the past two years and decided to provide some commentary. They hold quite a lot of weight. The NSF is like UL ratings. Sure, it is mostly for food and medicine use but I DO THINK IT MATTERS when it comes to structural build quality as well. This is in comparison to “other brands” (basically the same product with different seller attached to it) of similar size that are inferior due to strength, form, function, ease of assembly and ability to be moved without casters. These are all NON-NSF racks and I had no idea there was a difference, at least in my non-commercial applications. These FDW are superior in many ways. 1st, they do not sag. 2nd, they do flex (like a suspension bridge is supposed to flex) but in a good way 3rd, the clips fit (do not have “flashing” that prevents them from completely surrounding vertical poles. 4th, the finish is good 5th, they can be moved. The photo I have is with approximately 200 lbs of miscellaneous (mostly vinyl) items. I have moved this shelf (along with the others, 5 in total) around on fake wood, laminate floor without damaging the floor (no marks from foot levelers) or losing any structural integrity to racks. I say this because any time you put casters on something it makes it less stable. These CAN be moved or “walked” around without catastrophic failure. I do not know what gauge these are, but the rack wire IS stiffer than others of the same dimensions. The poles attach by screwing themselves together (as opposed to the ones that simply insert into each other and are designed to provide stability due to gravity) and are threaded properly. The junction is stable. Not flimsy. The clips do not slide when you set racks onto them. Sometimes you have to use a mallet or hammer to “set” them into place. I have not had an issue with them moving down and fussing with pulling up the racks and resetting everything. I like the black finish, too. I had these in a basement where it was climate controlled but rather humid at times and there are no signs of rust. I only do 5 and 1 star reviews because 5 stars are generally consistent and 1 stars often show a common “fatal” flaw that is factual not based upon opinion. That’s how I shop as well.

When the box arrived and I saw "paylesshere.com" on the side, my heart FELL - **deep**. Within the last 3 months, I've bought a chair (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T8LXPSS) and a desk (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09SB124NN) with that on the box - the desk I've **already** returned (Amazon wont publish my review - even though I used NO foul language (the exception - I used a 3 letter acronym to describe the desk (starts with "P") - I don't think they liked that (to be honest, the same can be said for the chair)). That said, the desk **is** returned (they claimed the desk (top) was 48x24 - it was **actually** 47x19.25 - and the quality was POOR). The chair I would have returned except then I'd have nowhere to sit and I cannot afford to replace it right now - but when I can, it WILL be replaced (the base is too small and if I lean over to pick something up off the floor, the chair flies from beneath me and I am on the floor - as I was **5** (five) times while putting this wire shelving unit together - I **hate** this chair (but for $35...)). This wire shelving unit was FAR better quality than I expected. The 3" (post=3/8-16) wheels (standard fit for MOST wire shelving posts - regardless of manufacturer (I've reviewed them too)) fit PERFECTLY - so we were off to a great start (the shelves are **actually** 35.5x13.5). That said - it **IS** only there to hold items and does that. It **DOES** look good. All of that said, I will not be buying another - the store with the red circle sells the Brightroom brand and they have actual 18" deep shelves and their 18x36x72 shelving unit is only $6 more than here (on sale - and there are many holidays approaching) and that unit **is** heavy duty (I've put **quite** a few of that brand together over the last couple of years (they are great for home and office) - the poles are **thicker** (both quality and circumference - and admittedly heavier, and the shelves themselves are also thicker and heavier) - BUT - for an INEXPENSIVE, LIGHT DUTY (no matter what the description says) shelving unit - this one is NOT BAD AT ALL.

This shelf is really nice. Easy to put together. Seems very sturdy. I bought 2 and if I buy any more shelves I think I'll go with these again.

Easy to put together. Directions are clear. It is sturdy. I'm happy it has leveling feet since I was putting it on carpet. Light enough to put together in one area and move it to another. Adjustable shelves are easy to measure by counting the marked poles.

I really like this shelving unit. It is relatively easy to assemble and is sturdy enough. It holds quite a lot and the shelves can be placed with different heights in between if so desired. I am entertaining the possibility of ordering another.

It arrived in good shape with no damage to any parts even though some of the protective plastic disks between the shelves were crushed. (I guess they did their job!) The shelving unit was easy to install, as expected. It is stable thanks to the levelling feet. It includes 2 extra pieces of plastic shelf supports (good for 1 corner of 1 shelf) in case of damage or defects I suppose. In terms of packaging waste, it's not too bad. It's mostly corrugated cardboard, but some plastic pouches (7 CPP / OPP - cast polypropylene and oriented polypropylene) for the shelf support pieces and plastic sleeves (5 PP - polypropylene) for the legs. And then there were the black plastic protective disks... 4 between every shelf. No styrofoam--yay! It's made in Vietnam. Each corner of each shelf is stamped on the outfacing side with the NSF registered trademark and Xin Feng International, but it's not really noticeable unless you're up close.

I bought 2 and this size just fit into my closet like a clove. Everything is now excessible and found quickly. No longer have to pull huge amounts of items out of my closet just to find what I need.
