Q: Those of you who like this grater, how do you get the sticky label off?

Goop Off or Goo B Gone gets off sticky labels from everything! This is not the only product that has really difficult labels to remove!

Q: Is this made in the USA

Blade made in USA; assembled in Mexico.

Q: Really considering it but repeated complaints about the sticker issue gives me pause. Is that how it's currently packaged? Did this happen to everyone

I did not have any trouble removing the sticker. If anything should give you pause, it is the fact that the grater is quite sharp. I recommend cut-resistant gloves.

Q: Is this good for food like carrots, zucchini and cheddar cheese? Or would the extra course version be better?

this microplane is too fine for that. I would recommend a regular sized grater for carrots and zucchini. cheddar is ok for the extra course version if it's between the fine and regular.
