Is the corn GMO-free?

I threw away the packaging but I would believe if it's environmental friendly, it is GMO free. I do have to say that it is pretty difficult for my 11 month old to bite to vibrate.

Is this made is the USA? If not, then where?

It says on the package that it is made in China

Is the chewing plastic a soft gummy plastic or is it hard plastic?

It is a fairly rigid plastic, not gummy at all. I didn't think the baby (only weeks old) could handle it, but she took to it right away and loves it!

Does it vibrate on its own, not needing to hold down a button?

It’s doesn’t have an “on/off” button. It only vibrates when you put pressure midway down the corn. It didn’t take long for my son to figure out how to activate it by biting down.

This is a must for every baby. My younger brothers all had one, my children each had one and now we've given my nephew one as well for Christmas. He loves it. Was mesmerized by it, you could tell it just made his gums feel so much better! As a past user I always found that the silicone end never ripped no matter how much a baby chews, the battery lasts forever I swear. Very easy to hold for babies and very lightweight as well. Super easy to clean quick in the sink while washing dishes. John Deere not only knows how to build farm equipment but baby teethers as well. They knew what they were doing with this product for sure!
