I needed a long sturdy USB extension to run from a navigation plotter to a external port. Because some random Raymarine design engineer thought it would be hilarious to put the only USB input in the rear of a plotter designed to be mounted into a console, I needed to run a USB line from the plotter over to my control panel inside the cabin. Saltwater environments being what they are, I needed a sturdier than usual extension. I think I found it. Unless you see another update here you can assume all is well. If not, I will come back, and it will be brutal. But since nothing connected to it is made by Apple, I’m going to assume that it will continue to preform as well as it does now.
