Great product for a reasonabke price.
We switched from a Keurig to this after our hard water gummed it up. This has handled our hard water like a pro and gives us a good brew each time. Easy to schedule a brew or just brew on demand. It alsoalllws to take a cup of coffee out while brewing without making a mess. It just pauses the drip while the pot is off the burner. Keeps coffee warm after brewing for several hours too.

MR Brew Now
The Mr. Coffee Brew Now or Later Coffee Maker is a 12-cup drip coffee maker with a programmable timer and a “Brew Now” option. It also features an auto-pause function that lets you pour a cup of coffee mid-brew without interrupting the cycle, and a 4-hour automatic shutoff to prevent burnt coffee. Users rate it at 4.36 out of 5 stars on [various retail sites].Here’s a breakdown of the pros and cons of Mr. Coffee Brew Now or Later Coffee Maker, 12- Cup, Black:ProsSimple and convenient to use: This coffee maker is straightforward to program and operate, making it a great choice for busy mornings or for people who aren't avid coffee drinkers.Programmable timer: Set the brew time the night before and wake up to a fresh pot of coffee.Brew strength selector: Choose between bold or regular brew strength to suit your taste.Easy to clean: Removable filter basket and carafe parts make cleaning a breeze.Affordable: This coffee maker is priced competitively within the drip coffee maker category.Pause and serve: Enjoy a cup of coffee before the entire pot has finished brewing.ConsNo advanced features: This coffee maker doesn't have a built-in grinder or fancy features like some high-end models. Not ideal for small batches: If you typically only brew a cup or two of coffee at a time, this machine may be overkill.Limited color options: This coffee maker only comes in black.Cleaning and maintenance: Like most coffee makers, it requires regular cleaning and descaling to maintain optimal performance.Durability concerns: Some users report that the machine may not be as durable as some other models on the market.Overall, the Mr. Coffee Brew Now or Later Coffee Maker is a no-frills coffee maker that’s easy to use, brews a good pot of coffee, and is affordable. If you're looking for a basic coffee maker for your everyday needs, this is a great option to consider. However, if you're looking for a coffee maker with a lot of bells and whistles, or if you typically only brew small batches of coffee, you may want to look elsewhere.

Fast delivery fast brew
The water display is too small and starts at the 6 cups measuring, does not have an additional reusable filter for the price I think it should include one. Nice and compact seems sturdy. Not sure if I’ll keep it though because of the water display.

Heating element stopped working within 2 weeks of amazon return expiration.
This coffee pot was working just fine then stopped heating water. This happened within two weeks of the amazon return window EXPIRING. 5-6 WEEKS OF USE?I contacted Amazon, who asked me to contact the manufacturer. They put the warranty phone number and my purchase receipt in chat. When I asked them to send me the info via email, they ensured it would remain available in chat and they would send an email. I checked my email right away, no email from Amazon! When I looked at customer service chat moments later, it looked like the conversation had never taken place. There was no record of me contacting them!So I contacted amazon via chat again. They offered to give me a one time exception return, but I would have to pick up the shipping charge. What?I think it is unreasonable to expect customers to pay money to return an item that stopped heating after 5-6 weeks of use, especially from a supposed-reputable brand like Mr. Coffee.I have brand loyalty and this experience has me thinking it might be time for a change.I'm back to talk about the warranty submission nightmare! :-) (April 1)The manufacturer responded to my warranty request stating the incorrect problem. They sent another email with a link to a warranty information form.I gathered the photos (4 needed - two for the form, two for codes on the prongs from 75+ year old parents in another state), receipt and started to fill in the form on the warranty site. Well, guess what? The code I had was six characters; the form would only take 4. I couldn't use the first four or the last four, so I just put in the code on the pop-up info button. I didn't have the second plug prong code. The prong on the machine I purchased is blank. Awesome.Well, fortunately the submit button didn't kick me back to an additional issue, but the page that showed up indicated I couldn't see the page I was sent to since I wasn't logged in. I guess I can't see the confirmation page or can't see what? Where is the submit form supposed to take me? Hmmm. I'll check my email for a confirmation. NOPE. Is my warranty form received or not? Snail mail is better than this hack of a submission. Maybe it's designed that way. Who knows. Either way, they should be sending me money for my time dealing with this nonsense. Now, I have a new warranty case number for the issue of not being able to submit my original warranty case. Fun. Definitely buy this coffee maker if you like to spend your free time trying to sort out a terrible product.

It makes coffee. It's cheap.
Okay, it makes coffee.Whether or not it will overflow the basket and dump ground into the pot on any given brew, is a roll of the dice, even if the coffee amount and grind never vary at all.The hot plate is too hot and is not adjustable.(Mr. Coffee Details used to offer an adjustable warming plate, might still)The carafe is as thin as their margin on this appliance. Don't sneeze toward it, it might shatter. Don't look cross-eyed at it either, it might shatter.Nearly all of the engineering that went into it, was dedicated to making it cheap and easy to manufacture, NOT to make it easier or more pleasant to use by the end user. (former manufacturing engineer here)Built to a low price point; you get what you pay for. Bought this one when our espresso machine went out, still regretting the purchase.
