Had to return, needed it sooner, excellent product and the seller was more than accommodating. Would recommend!

I have a 15.75" neck, so I bought the Medium size: as another reviewer stated, the sizing is tight, but I think I will be sticking with medium. According to the instructions, the chest/shoulder pads (which are wider than the hard composite chest/shoulder bits) are for comfort only, and are not for safety. The shoulder pad fabric is a bit scratchy on the neck, but fortunately, the pads are attached using velcro. I found that pulling off the pads, and moving them outwards helped with comfort significantly. It also helps to wear a head sock, to prevent the scratchy abrasion from the padding. I may end up removing the padding entirely, or replacing it with something softer.

The fit/body type information is vague, even on the products primary website. Despite falling under the medium size (15.5-16" neck), it was very tight and was quite abrasive against my neck when I test fitted the product. No problems with my return.
