This works great for sustaining plants in a bioactive terrarium! The light colors are very adjustable and it can be set on a time cycle.

This is my second buy of this light for a 75 gallon fish tank. It sounds bad, but hang on. The first developed an issue in the light, but customer service was really great! Ran me through some diagnostics, then sent me a refund when they couldn't resolve it immediately. I've seen a huge increase in plant growth with this light. Assembly is next to nothing. The choices of colors and times are impressive.

Stopped working 10 months after purchase. I did like it for those 10 months but I cannot recommend and would not repurchase given the short lifespan.

This thing is awesome, since I switched to it my plants are blooming and spreading quickly. I would recommend not having it all the way up unless you have a good algea control team in your aquarium.

So i got this back in November 2022. Worked great out of the box, no assembly required. Timer worked great. Eventually, towards the end of 2023, I started having slight issues with using it. The timer wasn't quite right sometimes or it would flip on all the sudden before the timer should have been up. Then, about 3 months later it started to not respond, so I would unplug it and plug it back in, then sometimes that would work and sometimes it wouldn't (this only got worse) eventually, the light would have to be unplugged, hope that it turns on when you do that and the timer wouldn't work at all until now, where it won't turn on. I feel like it would work fine if the Timer wasn't in-line with the power. SO yeah the TLDR is worked 1 year great, then degraded over the next 11 months. Won't be buying this one again. maybe if it had lasted until now and not been a pain to use half that time.

This light is great. It is bright. Easy to use. Not flimsy. Looks great on the tank. Inexpensive. And it remembers its settings if you're like me and like having it plugged into an outlet controlled by a wall switch. I've tried one of the big name Led lights before...it wasn't bright enough unless you added the 2 optional bulbs. That would have cost me more than double the price of this one. Of course, the true test will be to see how long it lasts. I definitely recommend it.

I love that I can adjust colors and that it’s waterproof. The only downside is that timer cannot be set lower than 8 hours. If you need a 6 hour timer you’ll need to do it manually.

It worked great for the first 2 years. Now, despite settings, it often comes 0n displaying blue light. Then I have to fight with it to get white light. They make these electronic devices overly complicated so when something goes wrong you're out of luck.

I got defective product and now they are not replacing it

Update: I got this light just over a year ago and now it’s not working. Not too impressed with this! I love this light!! Fits on my 75 gallon real nice and the plants are loving it. I love all the different features especially the timer on it! Would highly recommend

Almost everything one can ask for a light suited for a planted aquarium. The programming functions are very easy to set. Six intensities from 5% to 100% for the daylight mode. I love how it mimics real life sunrise and sunset by ramping up the light at the start and dimming down at the end of the daylight cycle. You can chose an eight, ten or twelve hour daylight setting. The blue moonlight cycle has 7 settings from 0% to 100%. Unfortunately you have to chose between either daylight or blue light. You can't tack on a moonlight period at the end of the daylight cycle for a full 24 hour effect. I think that would be an added bonus. The user controller could be a little higher up the electric cord so you don't have to reach down to access it. Another feature that I would like to see added is a second steps to the extendable brackets giving us an options as to the height the light can be set above the aquarium. Overall Nicrew AquaLux plants aquarium light is an excellent value for the price.

I ordered this light on November 8, 2024. However, I didn't start using it until the beginning of December 2024. The light was great in the beginning. Timer feature was awesome, it slowly faded mimicking the sun setting. Today, a little under one full year of usage, it decided to kick the bucket. The light no longer works. My husband, typical blue collar man - doesn't like to replace anything without first seeing why it's broken and if he can fix it, took it upon himself to take a volt meter to it. It has power, next step, take apart the timer...the mother board inside no longer works, and not something he's able to fix. The same timer feature that made this whole light my absolute favourite out of the 5 other tank lights I have running, is well, cooked. I would not recommend this light to anyone unless you enjoy replacing lights frequently.

Good product at first, but there is an inherent problem with the controller and power supplies, they all fail but the led light bar is still good, so so bought a variable power supply on Amazon and run them at 20vdc Have done this 5 times now You need to upgrade the controllers so they last longer
