Had to fix grandmas cameras power supply. She had a “miami” type installer do her security camera system. Surprised she didn’t have a fire in her house. This system allowed me to use 1 plug to power 4 cameras! Works great. Also allows her to clean the dust around the system with out causing sparks because she touched the wires!

I purchased it, in order to power up some unusually powerful CCTV cameras. Regular 12v DC 500ma power supplies wouldn't cut it. These are larger, vari-focal, IR domes, that draw more / need more power, during night vision operation. Because I had three on the same chain, (In-line location), I got it with the 4 way adapter. Powering all three up. @ 2.5 amps, the cameras each draw around 700ma a piece. Had I powered up 4 cameras, I would have gotten the 3 amp version, just to be on the safe side. Although the balance of the cameras are powered by a 16 channel 12v DC power supply. (In a box) Those cameras are smaller IR domes, with fixed lenses, and only draw the usual 300ma to 500ma. In any case, I am completely satisfied. Those of you thinking that these cameras are bad, my just need more power to run them at night, when the IR LEDS kick in. Best remedy for them.
