Orrington Farms Base Ham Nat 12 Ounce

Great Ham flavor. Made large batch, 5 gallons of ham and bean soup.

This is really good. I used it to flavor some canned green beans and everyone liked it. I'll try it with pinto beans next; I think it will be even better than beans with ham hocks.

I used this Orrington Farms Base Ham recently after the holidays to make a hearty ham and bean soup. This seasoning made a great base full of wonderful flavor. The family loved it. I'll be using it next for a split pea and ham soup soon.

The yoyo's at the factory glued a bar code right over the directions. If you peel the bar code off, then so go the directions. I think I can figure out how to use the product, but it would have been nice to know what the manufacturer wanted me to know.

Don't put too much or it will be too salty.

A definite must for making sausage gravy, split pea soup, navy bean soup....

This is absolutely essential for when you are making ham and beans or a big pot of soup, Especially on Those cold chilly winter days! I don’t know about you… But when my husband and I talk about what we’d like for dinner for the following week and we are making out Grocery list, There is nothing more frustrating than being dead set on eating a certain meal and you cannot find the seasoning anywhere! We Live in a town with the population 75,000 and we absolutely cannot find this seasoning anywhere in town! When I saw we could buy it on Amazon I was absolutely thrilled! It’s delicious and has an extremely long shelf life!! If you want the perfect seasoning for that pot of ham and beans or soup…. This is for you!!
