Love this light. I got this one for my dad as I was using it and he really liked how nice it is. Bright, durable, and handy. Just put it back on the charger when you are done. Battery lasts long and comes with a second if you are working on a longer project. Magnet is strong and helps with keeping your hands free. I have had my personal one for several years and use it daily. It is dirty but works great.

Own three of these, love the ability to quick change battery. Great output and runtime. The led tip is a bit fragile, but main light still works even if the tip doesn't. Bought additional 26650 orbtronic batteries for use with these. High quality light

Don't leave it stuck to the bottom of your friend's car. It'll be gone forever. The magnet is super strong, so it won't fall off, but if your friend ghosts you, you're not getting it back. Fair warning. :) Runs on removable 18650 batteries, so you don't need the charger that comes with it to use the light. If you have a battery charger and 18650 batteries lying around for vaping - that works great. 👍

As an auto tech I can say it’s not a fix all lighting solution but it is a solid light to add to the collection. Sticks to magnetic surfaces very well and fits in most spaces. The charging dock and removable battery minimizes down time very effectively. The hook is fairly useless but it does come in handy from time to time. It’ll take a few drops.

This things a little bigger and more robust than I expected, still small enough to be convenient under a car or in a fender well. Two rows of LED’s are super bright and the convenience of two battery options puts this light at the top of the list with the competition. I had initial reservations about the price, but now that I have it, it’s clearly with the cost to me!

Light works amazing but the tip light broke almost right away when it tipped and dropped about a foot

This is a well put together light. Forget about the Amazon specials where you see similar lights for $15, been there done that. I love having the peace of mind that another battery is always in the charger and I can dock the light in the same charger when I’m done. The adjustable light is really nice, my eyes are fairly sensitive to light reflections and I can dial the intensity back when I need to. The 20lb magnet holds strong and also comes with a thin rubber pad on the bottom so you don’t scratch paint or pick up a bunch of metal shavings like the cheap lights do. Great attention to detail.

I incorrectly assumed that Astro knew how to build a good work light for mechanics. Cars get wet and drip water, fluids leak, things get messy. I expect a professional work light to at least be splash resistant if not some level of water proof. This light is not! I took it to the sink to rinse off some coolant I got it it from my hands and water immediately went INSIDE the light around the roller switch! I looked closer and it's just OPEN AROUND THE SWITCH! I can see right inside to the light board and it's tube. I had water in the battery cavity and in the LED portion. I was pretty alarmed by this! My light was alarmed too...it got stuck on high until I blew the water out. Astro, come on...I thought you guys were professional grade for real mechanics and technicians? I thought you were cool... Edit: 1/12/2022 The top light cap and LED board fell off today when I picked it up off my tool box. It's a work light, it gets dropped sometimes. Look at how tiny those screws are! This thing just gets worse and worse. I really expected better.
