Great car charger for Insiron Laptops
I was concerned as the spec of the CAR Charger for Dell Inspiron Laptop: 90W 65W 45W as it said that was a 19 volt DC to DC convert and my DELL Inspiron 15 5406 2N1 is specified for 19.5. I reviewed the list of Dells it was compatible with and had been tested to work and the all ranged between 19.5 and 19, so I figured it was safe. It works perfectly. I have tested with my Inspiron powering a DVD player thru its USB port. The replay of a DVD was perfect. I knew it would be OK as my 5406 requires only 45 Watts and this inverter is spec'd at least 65W. Also, there was no static or interference caused by either the car engine or the DC inverters internal circuitry. The price was 1/3 of the Dell car charger. It is small and easily stores in the car console. The blue light is a plus to let you know that it is powered. It is simple and constructed well with plenty of cord length to reach the back seat. I have only had it a few days, but planning on a long trip so looking forward to see how it performs. I would recommend this DC/DC converter!

12V car charger for Dell laptops
I was going on a car trip and had just bought a GPS unit for my Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop along with the Delorme Street Atlas software. Since I was going to use my laptop as my GPS navigator it would have to be on all the time, so I needed a way to keep the battery charged in the car. I there for purchased the PWR+ charger from Amazon. The first thing that stuck me about the charger was that it looked almost exactly like the OEM AC charger that came with the laptop. Instead of a AC plug on one end, it had a cigarette lighter/power socket adapter. It has the exact same voltage and wattage output as the AC version. The quality of the workmanship was heads above all the other adapters I looked at on the web, but it only cost a few dollars more. I used it for many hours at a time for several days and it performed flawlessly. This was well worth the money.

Supplies the Same Power as Does my AC Adapter But From 12 Volts
My Dell Inspiron E1505 "sees" no difference from the power it receives from this adapter than it gets from my Dell factory-supplied AC power supply. This means that I can power my notebook computer from the 12-volt outlets in my car and RV without having to use an external inverter. The price of this power supply is about half of what Dell charges for their factory 12-volt DC adapter yet works equally well. In my experience, this is a good product with good value and nice design. It has a handy Velcro cord wrap for storage and delivers excellent performance. In order to work property this laptop adapter needs to have a fully-charged battery power source. If the battery voltage gets too low, it could cause this adapter to cycle on and off or shut down to protect the battery as would most other adapters or inverters.

So far so good
Works to power/charge my 65W laptop in the car. Build quality seems solid. Hasn't died yet.

Best purchase!!
Love it! Doesn't overheat or make any weird sounds. Best thing I've purchased for my laptop as someone always on the go.

Junk
Junk!! I’ve owned several USB-C car chargers, and this one is by far the worst. The tip that plugs into the computer never made a solid connection from the beginning — I was constantly wiggling it just to get it to charge. As you can see in the photo, the tip eventually just broke from all the adjusting. Terrible quality - do yourself a favor and keep scrolling.

Good Laptop Car Charger
I’m shocked at how well this charger works in my car. I have a 2018 Honda accord. You pug this in the lighter located in the front dashboard. I also have on in my arm rest. I’m using a Dell laptop computer with a USB-C charging port. This charger is easy to use. I work from my car so I needed something that will work very well. Although they do have other chargers like this that are more affordable, I wasn’t taking any chance because I don’t want to use anything that would fail or mess up my car.

Powers mid-range laptop!
I purchased two of these in Dec 2022, and still working great in August 2024. They have been working great to charge phones extremely quickly, but are also powerful enough to charge a mid range laptops that ship with 65 watt USBC power adapters. There are now other high power USBC car adapters available on Amazon for a lower price that claim 65 watt. However after purchasing one of those and finding it can't charge any of my laptops while traveling I am returning to one of these. Things to note: The cable is also very robust and good quality but this means you have to be careful not to damage the USBC port on your phone or laptop. If you have a thick phone-case it may be hard to plug this in as the plastic around the connector is quite thick. I tried to remedy this by trimming the plastic a bit but that was a bad idea, the metal USBC connector quickly got loose and no longer connects. To summarize, the connectors and cables are very robust the way they are, just don't trim them like I did. Maybe trim your phone case instead!
