It is a good hood. Fits well. I like the locking tab to ensure hood stays on.

I'm impressed by the value of this lens hood. It does everything the Canon lens hood does at a fraction of the cost. It's sturdy and well made, shields and protects the lens, and goes on and comes off with ease. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and highly recommend this lense hood in lieu of the expensive Canon one.

Fits well on canon r6 mark ii for 28-70mm lens.

I've never had the official Canon hood for this lens so I can't really compare, but I can't imagine the Canon is enough better to justify 3 times the price. The JJC goes on and off easily, cleanly snaps in pace, is fully reversible for camera storage and seems pretty well made for it's modest price. The only (very very slight) criticism I have is that when you try to remove it from the reversed position, it almost feels stuck. I don't think it's catching on anything as it doesn't seem to "break" loose, I think it's just a little more snug than I'm expecting. It's just a little more snug than when it's on frontwards. It's definitely not so snug that I'm worried about damaging the lens, but for some reason, it surprises me every time and I have to give it a little more force than I thought. I can easily live with this for the price, but I thought I'd mention it. If you want the absolute pinnacle of quality control and best experience, maybe it's worth it to you to pay 3x the price for the Canon. Maybe the Canon does the same thing? I'd rather put that money elsewhere in my kit, especially since this is for a kit lens that will be upgraded hopefully sooner rather than later.

The quality, fit and sizing of this lens hood is really great. I can't imagine how it could be any better made. The fact that it costs a fraction of what Canon wants us to pay for it's branded alternative makes the JJC the obvious pick. I've purchased a number of other JJC camera accessories over the years and have been consistently impressed with their design, build quality and value.

The hood works great on the Canon 18-135mm lens its fit and finish are great. It is plastic, it does feel and look well built and designed, I have not had the hood for a long period of time so I can not really testify on the durability. The hood can be reversed for easy transport and locks on to the lens well. For the price its an exceptional item I really like the quality of the JJC products and have purchased several of the camera accessories I would recommend this item for anyone looking for a reasonably good priced hood.

Worth the purchase. Seems sturdy enough to hold up to the work I do which is Tactical and Technical Rescue photography. Has a great locking mechanism on it as well. I would buy another one if needed.

It fits well, is well built and a fraction of the cost of the original manufacturers model. If you didn't see the label you wouldn't even know it wasn't a genuine lens hood. A good buy.

This is a great quality hood. They used high grade plastic that is almost as good as the Canon version, but at a fraction of the cost. It fits perfectly on my lens with no issues.
