Penguin Modern Box Set

Great set of books!!! Very short and eloquent 👌🏻

A fantastic collection of modern penguin classics. Good value for money. Recommend this lovely box set to all book lovers

The author list is quite impressive and the stories/ essays / poems are all great. You'll not find everything here to your liking but what you do like will make it worth it. For me Truman Capote's The Duke in his Domain, and Italo Calvino's Distance of the Moon were superb pieces of writing that i would've missed if not for this collection.

The cover title and the story do not match. Moreover, there is complete mixed-up of two stories. Waste of money please don't buy just because the name of the publisher. As a book lover it is really pathetic.

I loved all the tiny 50 books in the box. Stories in each book is very short and will hardly take an hour or two to finish. The books in the box is very diverse and that helps you in knowing 50 different authors. It is a collectible item.

This contains the list of all books published under the Penguin Modern Classics Imprint. As a fan of Modern Classics, this is indispensable for me. The book is quite small, as you expect a catalogue to to be. George Orwell's essay, Books vs. Cigarettes is present at the middle of the book as an additional bonus. It is simple yet funny and one you won't forget so easy.

Some are not interesting enough but others moved me.

I bought the Kindle version and found that it only has the name of the books not the stories inside. Please be careful before purchasing. Only the hardcopy has the complete collection. Amazon customer care was very helpful in resolving this issue.
