Does both Type A and SD
The nice thing is the firewire type cord, transfer is super fast. I went Sony Type A card for the speed and the 256GB room after new A7RM5 and has not failed and holds and transfers fast even when doing hand held Pixel Shift images or hand held 5 at +/- 2EV bracketed images, keeps up!!!

Product Incorrectly Labelled as Type B instead of Type A
I ordered this product based on the pictures showing it was a card reader for CFExpress Type A. However, the product was incorrectly labeled as CFExpress Type B. There was a different product that was cheaper priced CFExpress Type B reader that showed the correct product title and pictures. So I assumed this product was just titled incorrectly and I ordered anyway hoping the pictures would be the correct product for CFExpress Type A. I received the product and luckily it was indeed a CFExpress Type A memory card reader. Please fix the label for the product to have CFExpress "Type A" Memory Card Reader.

Opened and DAMAGED!!!!
The media could not be loaded. Be careful when BUYING! I got opened and damaged card reader. See the tape on first picture? Was opened months ago looks how dirty is it it’s not opened by me today for sure. See other picture and video how it comes. Check the main picture there is whole 2 inch plastic part missing
