Prodotto ottimo, fa il suo sporco lavoro, spesso lo uso per "finire" le affilature prima di passare alla pelle per togliere la microbava, ottimo anche per mantenere il filo prima di una riaffilatura completa quando il coltello inizia a gridare pietà. Prodotto non adatto ai principianti in quanto essendo diamantato asporta veramente materiale dunque se non si ha familiarità con questo tipo di attrezzatura è molto facile rovinare definitivamente il filo del coltello in poche passate dunque è una trappola a doppio taglio
