Halatool 2LB Leca Clay Pebbles for Plants, 4-16mm Hydro Balls for Drainage

A so amendment I choose not to do without. It makes a huge difference in my plants. After months of searching, this product has been the best value for me; almost no dust, lightweight, large quantity and great value! FYI, when you find a great product, you’re able to pick out the large leca and perlite when repotting, rinse in soapy water to reuse.

Bought these pebbles to use as drainage in the bottom of my plant pots and so far they are doing what I want. My houseplants are in 4/6/8 inch pots and these small pebbles don’t fall out of the drainage holes. If you have large pots with larger hole in the bottom these might be too small.

I am happy with Halatool leca pebbles. They are competitively priced and create a great medium for my succulent and plant collection. You can use them alone or with soil and rocks/perlite. They are also great for propagating. The color is consistent for real leca. They absorb water extremely well, are great for drainage, making them an excellent choice for succulents. This bag is huge, at an affordable price so it will last me a lot longer than the previous smaller bags I’ve purchased. Highly recommend. Especially when Amazon has a deal on them.

It’s rainy season in Florida & some of my plants love full sun- but not the rain that comes at 4 pm daily. These clay pebbles help chunk my soil & keep my plants super happy. Great for succulents and cacti- not just orchids!

This was the first bag of Leca I bought and it did great for a bit. By the time I made it halfway through the second bag, I realized my house is a bit too dry for Leca. I would find that the reservoirs were drying out every other day and even keeping it topped up consistently left the top half of the pot a little too dry. It very much could have been user error, but the clay balls just weren’t wicking like I was lead to believe. I love the way they look and the plants that grow well, grow really well. I haven’t seen any pests in the pots that have leca. And I imagine they could be versatile, but I just use them for plants. And I didn’t take any of them back out of the leca because the addition of a humidifier helped with keeping things moist.

I'm new to this product but I love it already. I used it to repot some house plants. I used it as a base layer for drainage before adding soil. I also topped one of the pots with these clay beads and they really dressed it up. I plan on putting a layer of them in a foil pan with some water to set my house plants on when I go away for an extended vacation. Super cute. Freat idea, so much better than broken shards of terra cotta pots for drainage.

Perfect for a humid pet enclosure. My crested gecko enjoys the humidity provided. It came exactly as described.

Excellent for decoration of pots, and seems to help keep the flies away.
