I've been using these A4 casebound notebooks since 2019. The paper is smooth and wonderful to write on. I use fountain pens (with nibs ranging from fine to stub) and fountain pen ink (permanent, sheening, shading, though I don't bother with shimmer). Even with a stub laying down a heavy black ink, the ink will not bleed through. With the very darkest of inks, you will get a little bit of ghosting (show-through) but not much. The one thing that kept back a star was the smearing. Due to the sizing (the coating on the paper) fountain pen ink can take longer to dry, and can smear easily. I'm still buying more, and I can still recommend this paper and these notebooks. For personal journals and novel writing, I use these casebound. For business notes I use the spiral bound notebooks. Try these at least once. I think you'll like them.
