Mario Golf: Super Rush - Nintendo Switch

I was really stoked about this game releasing especially during a pandemic that has been limiting the releases of a lot of hit games. It's a great golf game a lot like Hot Shots golf with the gameplay but it offers a lot of different game modes and I'm sure there will be more content to come as there usually is with these games. People need to remember this isn't a game like when they use to release games on nintendo or super nintendo, you will get more content eventually. I work 6 days a week so I haven't had the time to beat the game like a lot of these reviewers I'm seeing on here. SO my takeaways are the amount of characters you can choose from is mad, I've been playing the adventure mode which is really neat, reminds me of pokemon some. They start you off where you're known as the upcoming rookie golfer, believe they call you a prodigy. You have to start by going around the map and talking to a good amount of people before you actually get started golfing, they teach you the mechanics of the game which is a pain at least to me but it's better to know all the controls and functions because it will make you a better player overall especially early on. I saw people complaining about courses but when you think about it even playing on the same course over and over isn't the same when you add in wind factors and weather change so I don't see this as a big deal. Rush mode is very cool because it entices you so to speak to want to play faster to get your ball in first so you really do have to be clutch in every moment in that mode. Overall I would get this game now, unless you have another game or two that is taking up your time then you really don't need the extra content but it's fun, controls are easy and it's Mario, when have they ever put out a game that wasn't amazing! My fiancee and I play this game a lot. And neither of us even care much about golf. But this game is addicting. "Ok fine ...18 more holes" has been said more than I can count. Certain courses are easy and fun, others can be challenging and extremely frustrating. As you play you learn and get better at it. It can get very competitive. I never played the old Mario golf games, but I was curious based on a friend's suggestion. He refused to let me borrow his Mario golf despite letting me borrow any of his other switch games, so I was tempted to check it out. Glad I pulled the trigger. Love this game!

I've been a fan of Mario Golf games since the N64 version, so I was really looking forward to this game. First off, the golfing in this game is well done & a lot of fun. Story mode is simple, but gives a pretty goof feel to actual golf pro shops, club houses, training, & local golf trainers. Story mode also does a good job at teaching you how to play the game. Of course buying a Mario Golf game in 2021 for a single player experience, probably isn't happening much. Good news is that Mario Golf: Super Rush does offer some great multiplayer action! Speed Golf & Battle Golf are NEW & both are a lot of fun. Sadly, Speed & Battle Golf can only be played by 2 players locally, however 4 players can enjoy a good game of regular golf. You can choose between 17 characters to play as (that number includes the Mii character, & at the time of this review a free update has made Toadette a playable character bringing the roster up tp 18). Mario Golf: Super Rush has 6 courses (after downloading the free update, you will be able to add 1 new course bringing it up to 7). Online mode is fun, but very basic and bare. Hopefully Nintendo will add online tournaments & events soon to add some spice. It seems there will be future updates for the game, adding new courses, characters, & I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a new mode or two. So as of right now after the first free update (Toadette & New Donk City), I can say that I enjoy this game a lot. I feel the music could be better, motion controls aren't great (but make for a fun time at a game night), & lacking some modes. On the positive side however, this game is fun, with online 1 player can have endless fun with this game, some really fun courses, a great roster of characters, unique special shots, very fun new game modes, & free updates coming at later dates to improve the game even more. So if you have been wanting a fun Mario Golf game, this is a safe purchase or you. If you want a game for a game night where 4 people can have fun playing at the same time, this is probably game you want to pass on for right now.

My kids ( 5 and 8 ) and I play. Took us a minute to figure out and follow the instructions accordingly. Super fun for all of us to play- we use the golf clubs that I purchased for extra.

Jogo original é muito bom

Me gustó mucho el título, para empezar en el golf a conocer conceptos, tipos de golpe de una manera divertida, creo es excelente porque los juegos de Mario siempre son así y este pese a que pueda parecer aburrido es muy divertido y entretenido. La entrada y envío fue perfecta, sin ningun tipo de contratiempo, todo puntual y en buen estado, lo recomiendo mucho

Este jogo é para quem curte golfe. Conseguiram, mais uma vez, fazer um jogo extremamente agradável de jogar com evolução no modo single player ou correria e armadilhas no modo batalha. Para quem está habituado com jogos de golfe e já tem noção de tacos, inclinação do solo, penalidades por estar fora do "fairway", birdies, eagles... podem comprar! É divertido e o jogo está cheio de detalhes que fazem o jogo se tornar interessante para quem aprecia o esporte. Se vc também aprecia, pode comprar! Indico!
