Great foam brushes
These brushes are great and hold up very well. I used them on shellac and they worked very well and I used the same brush for 3 coats of Shellac

High quality at an extremely good value
I own a custom cabinetry shop and we stain a lot of different woods with oil based stains and lacquers and these have been the best brushes I have been able to find over the last 4 years and I will never buy anything else. They hold together well even after hours of use soaked in stain, mashed and rubbed against hundreds of doors and cabinet frames. With other brushes I would have issues with chunks of foam falling apart and if I dipped the brush too far into the stain the glue holding the foam part on the stick would become unglued and I would end up loosing the foam tip off the stick. I've never had either issue with this brand. I use to use 10-18 brushes per job with other brands and with this brand and how well it is made and holds up I've been able to get away with just one brush per job saving me hundreds. The foam tip keeps it's form, wont disintegrate and stays attached to the stick. Overall an extremely high quality product well worth the money and honestly the price per brush is a really awesome value you wont be disappointed with this brush.

One-Third the Cost of 2" Foam Brushes at Big Box Hardware Stores and Made in the USA ...
โJen Manufacturing Inc. 2โ Poly Foam Brush (Pack Of 48)โ were just what my woodworker spouse and I needed for finishing projects or painting. The angled head of the 2โ brush makes it easy to use in small areas. The wood handle is about 4โ long and ยฝโ in circumference. I use these brushes for craft projects or when painting a room in the house to cut-in as necessary. They work well for getting a smooth finish โ no brush marks โ when painting a toy or stepstool that we have made for the grandchildren. Best of all, they are easy to wash and reuse several times. At one-third the price of 2โ foam brushes found in the big-box hardware stores โ approximately 25 cents vs 79 cents - โJen Manufacturing Inc. 2โ Poly Foam Brush (Pack Of 48)โ are a true bargain. More surprising, these brushes are made in the USA. You wonโt go wrong buying these 2โ foam brushes on Amazon.

High density
So, I have purchased lots of foam brushes. I generally use them to apply polyurethane for wood working projects. I have found that there are two densities of foam brushes: low density, which falls apart in polyurethane and high density which holds up much better (but will eventually fall apart too) and generally provides satisfactory coverage. These are the high density.

Got a project that needs foam brushes - these are the ticket!
I have been on a mission for a while now to get the honey oak out of our house! Through this process I have used MANY foam brushes, these are the only ones I am leaving a review for because they are awesome compared to 99% of the choices out there! I have used them with paint, gel stain and poly coats. 1. These are very sturdy brushes - it is not just a wooden post with a shaped foam piece on top. Those types (if you have used them you know...) do not hold a shape and after using them a little while just droop from the weight of whatever liquid you are using them with. These brushes actually have a piece of material (kind of looks like a thin stiff piece of felt) in the middle which keeps the brush from drooping at all. 2. the foam iteself is superior - using other brushes I have seen pieces being torn off from the smallest snag in the wood I'm painting/staining. These seem to be more of a dense foam, which also helps with the ability to hold it's shape. 3. Durability - both pieces above talk to the durability, but something I have been able to do with these brushes that I wouldn't even dream of even attempting with other brushes is washing it out and using it again - yes you heard me right. I had been painting various things white and went to the sink, rinsed it out, dried it with some paper towels and it was basically good as new. The second (and third time!) I did this with these brushes it was like I grabbed a brand new one. I will never buy other foam brushes. I'm sold!

Best foam brush out there
Excellent for poly, paint, varnish and shellac. The foam is denser than most foam brushes and well secured to the handle.
