these shapes are a great size not too big that require a lot of beads

I like having the extra shapes because the layout of the beads are slightly different depending on the shapes ie. The square and heart are mainly a regular layout, where the star and hexagon are offset slightly. With these shapes you can just go wild with colours to fill the shapes and make them as is, or we have used them with the free downloadable templates from the Perler.com website and created those pictured. Tree uses a circle, world with the heart, and the recycling sign uses the star pegboard. Having clear pegboards means that you can lay them directly over the templates to make following the pattern a little easier, although it is still a little tricky to see the variation between similar colours, for example the three shades of green in the tree. Overall I am pretty happy with them, they are fairly inexpensive but allow for additional use out of the beads, and seem sturdy.

This handcraft activity is very relaxing and perfect to do alone or with friends and family. My 12-year-old really enjoys it and finds it fun and calming.

Requested gift from grandchildren. They loved it and me.

THese are truly the hot set-up for perler beads! We have made so many projects with them. While we were able to lay two boards side by side for larger projects, they do not truly "connect" enough to move from place to place. We lost a few projects by trying to move them too much. But if you use a cookie sheet under them, or simply iron them where you make them, they work great. And honestly, they're plenty big for Christmas ornaments, keychains, and other decorative gifts.

These are the same size as the ones that come in the buckets and such. I was scared they’d be much smaller, but they’re EXACTLY the same size.

Its a Quality product. I felt the rate is bit high.

Las bases son muy buenas, se sienten de calidad y se pueden unir entre ellas para formar una base más grande. Por el precio, es genial que traigan 4. El plástico se siente de calidad y resistente, pero inevitablemente se doblará con el el calor de la planta con el paso del tiempo, no esperes que sea eterno. Sin embargo, claro que lo volveré a comprar :D
