The silicone pink cleaning tool is awesome and the microdermabrasion tool is almost as awesome lol
I got this and kept the boxes because I was concerned, would I notice enough of an effect/ Would I use it enough/ would it be easy enough/ to use to warrant the pricetag?Well, I kept the system, for me those requirements were met. This is a very particular tool for those who are willing to add ten minutes to their regular skin care routine. For a person that has a skin care routine!Night one was late so I just used the pink vibrating skin cleaning tool. It's unlike anything I've ever used before so I wasn't sure if I would get used to the new technique... but my skin felt great. So great I started using it in the shower. It would even remove the goo my medical patches leave behind. That's huge because no amount of scrubbing with any brush/ wash cloth/ loofah/ scrubby (even the guy's Axe body scrubber tool) would get the goo off which was frustrating. I have to either take time to scratch at my skin, typically causing a little rawness and bleeding or use a strange chemical prescribed to me that removes the goo wonderfully, but worried me due to the chemically smell. So the tool became indispensable to my skin care routine for my face and body! I love the feeling after I wash, and I've used skin brushes, buff pads e.t.c before, this is the best imho. The microdermabrasion device looks complicated and you need to buy refillable felt pads which I wasn't aware of needing. Oh and the diamond tips, even with proper care, will eventually need replacing. That being said, it's easy. The first time you read the instructions you might feel a bit daunted, then you use it using the guided/ timed mode and realize... wait... using that mode is all you need to remember. It literally guides you through what area of the face top focus in and for how long. Wash face, dry, turn on the device, follow instructions and finish in no time.I begin with the large cap and do the guided method first. Don't worry if the device tells you to move on before you're ready, go ahead and keep up with the program because for best results in my experience, you go a second time with the tiny head/ cap thingie. (Three heads are included, large and small diamond tipped then a smooth one they refer to add a massaging tip. I have not used that tip so I can't offer any feedback on it)While doing guided method with the large diamond head I struggle in certain areas. My forehead is the worst, it's skin pulled across your skull. Unless you have extra skin there it's tough to get the large head to suction, also positioning the head properly on your skin is difficult too. The skin beside your nose and a couple other spots, all are tough to really get into without using the little diamond head. It's fun removing the little felt piece after each session, I think a lot of us secretly enjoy the satisfaction of seeing icky stuff cleaned out of our pores. This is fun to see all that dead skin sitting on layers of itself. Lol.Running my clean hand over my skin lets me feel the smooth, soft, clean feeling. Initially, after completing my face, the skin is pretty red and kinda tight feeling but I use a hot washcloth to relax everything then apply the suggested serum that's included.I love how my skin looks and feels. I've been doing this once a week for now. That's a good place to start imho.I got this during a prime deal. Well with the cost, I'm pleased with the results! The redness goes away quickly! It doesn't make hickies on your skin I was concerned it would and last night I actually sort of tried to give myself one as in I was using this on my neck and wasn't gentle as I am usually. I wasn't flung anything the next day so I figured this was a good time to really get in there and make my lines close together, carefully going around my chest port.Nope! No hickey or lasting redness. This morning I woke with great looking/ feeling skin.Pricey? Yes. Everything involving skincare is. I take really good care of my skin but wanted to amp that up preparing for when my skin begins to show wrinkles and sagging. Plus sometimes my skin gets dull from being in bed sick for days on end with my illness. Taking a lot of meds and loving coke a cola also can't help lol.Cute random things. The charging base for the face cleaner is nice. Plug it in and when you want to charge your silicone brushy thing just toss it onto that base, it seats on the charger easily with the help of little magnets. I charge maybe once every 2 weeks, this thing has a great battery. I'm using mine for whole body in the shower (oh, it's super waterproof which is nice) at night and a quick use in the morning to help stimulate my face getting rid of the sleepiness. So, to me, that's impressive. The actual microdermabrasion tool has a charger that cradles the tool. It's a tad awkward but once you get used to it you will be a pro and have no issues.ConsNot huge getting used to the silicone vibrating brush may take awhile. Is a fairly awkward rounded triangle with each tip having a bunch of dots that vary in size. If I can offer any advice it's that you will be holding one of the sides in your fingers while tilting the rest of the triangle into your skin. This entire triangle won't be flat against your skin even tho you might tend to try that. Once mastered you can do the crevasses next to your nose super easily!I've read a lot about how the microdermabrasion tool doesn't have overcharge protection on it. So I put it on the charger at night and first thing when I wake up I take it off. I don't charge with each use but don't want to get stuck with half of my face done and a dead tool so I charge every 3 uses. It's annoying that I need to put so much thought into how I charge this or I will kill my unit within months. I'm super nervous about that. I'm debating setting up a smart outlet and having the charger set on a timer so I won't worry about forgetting and leaving it on all day.Well, that's most of it! Sorry for the long review but I wanted to be helpful and I'm reviewing two devices really... so that can be long. I'm happy to answer questions if you have them and I always update if something changes. I use reviews to make my decision on every purchase I make, so I try to give back and make helpful and honest reviews to help others. If this was helpful please hit thumbs up. I like to know if I'm being helpful. These reviews take a lot of time to write so if no one reads them then I should stick to short less in depth reviews lol. "This is awesome, I recommended it, good luck!" / the end LOL.Oh, last thought,I haven't seen how much the supplies cost to reorder (little felt pads, serum, eventually the tips). If I feel like they are ridiculous like printer ink I will update this. Thanks!

Ignore the mindless reviews...it really does work
The number of obviously solicited, vapid 5* reviews of this product actually work against it- I considered but then pulled it out of my cart a while back. Then, I got a few hours of quality time with a 10x magnifying mirror, became utterly horrified, came back to look at blackhead suckers, saw this on a lightning deal, and decided to take the plunge in spite of the "D" fakespot review rating (if you don't have this extension go get it now).I got it last week and so far have used it on myself and my husband twice. Here's my take:Packaging: Its nicely packaged, I am actually going to continue to store it in the original packaging due to the fact that there are so many little parts in it. It comes with the device, 3 tips, filters, a charger, and comes with a complete charge. How it works: We followed the instructions and used the larger diamond tip on the main areas of our face and the small tip on our noses. Pulling skin tight is a definite recommendation or you can end up with suctiony spots as we did the first time. I also recommend keeping skin damp to allow the device to glide a little more easily. Also, use after a shower or at least put a warm cloth over your face before you get rolling...probably obvious to everyone but if you're new to pore extraction its a must. Results: We are SUPER impressed with the results. I've had professional microdermabrasion sessions- my husband hasn't - but he couldn't believe how much his blackheads on his nose were essentially gone after 2 treatments. For both of us, our skin looks and feels smoother. I even have started to notice a reduction in sun damage and my pores seem smaller. I think it helps make other products we use like Vitamin C and HGF serums work better. As long as it holds up (see the reviews where it supposedly craps out) I think it was a really good buy at the lightning deal of $80. At the normal price of $130 it seems like a fair value.

Good Value & Decent Product for the Price...
There's only thing I'm not liking about this product - and that is the lack of movement of the head of the device - the end that makes contact with your skin. If the tip vibrated just slightly - providing just enough friction to really lift off dead skin cells - it would be far more effective. As it is - it depends on the pressure you apply - and is basically as effective as rubbing your skin with a fingernail file (just as a crude example). Other than this one suggestion, I would say it is an excellent abrasion device that does what it states - and that is to lift dead skin cells, with slight suctioning. It DOES leave my skin extremely soft - and clean feeling. The suctioning isn't perfect - you do have to go over your face with a wash cloth to remove skin that was left behind - but - I still recommend this product as a great alternative to an expensive salon visit. Perfect for at-home use.
