As advertised
Great item works as advertised. Since the Surface Go tablet does not have a USB port this was a lifesaver. It has three USB slots, a compact flash slot, and an SD card slot. All work well for its intended use.

Poor quality, does not do the job, connection fails frequently
1) The hub is not sturdy enough and does not fit flush enough for the audio jack to work without adding gaffer tape to snug it up against the computer. Even then, it often pulls loose and my headphones stop working. 2) As another reviewer noted, the flimsy nature of the hub means that connection is repeatedly lost, meaning my external drive and mouse will lose connection mid-working on important projects. 3. Just a few weeks after I bought it, it is now not working AT ALL with my mouse (an expensive gaming mouse that works fine with a simple adapter). It will not recognise it in any of the three USB-3 slots, meaning the item is now absolutely useless to me. I was really looking forward to having a hub that would work well with the Surface Go. Sadly, this was a total waste of money.

As soon as it arrived it felt cheap and only got worse from there. The connection was feeble and the audio port did not work at all.Maybe I got a defective unit.Maybe you'll get lucky.Well?Do you feel lucky?
