Moroccanoil Beach Wave Mousse, 5.8 Fl. Oz.

This is my go to for beach waves! After the shower I do my normal hair routine with leave in conditioner and then I add this mousse. It’s perfect for the “wet” hair look and lasts all day. If I want my hair to look completely wet I use more product but if I just want some waves I will use just two pumps of mousse. It is a bit pricey but lasts a hit 4/5 months. Not to mention the smell is amazing. Super easy to use and very effective! Love it!

I have long (below my bra strap) thin hair with little wave. I am 55 years old. This product gives my hair texture and thickness. I use very little, the size of a Mexican Lime, in the palm of my hand. You should use much less if your hair is shorter, perhaps kiwi lime size. To get lots of curl in my hair I complete the following process: Wash hair and barely towel dry. My hair is still dripping when I use a very wide toothed comb to get out the tangles after showering. Then, I put the amount listed above in the palm of my hand, lightly rub my hands together to evenly distribute the product. Flip my head upside down and lightly apply the product to my entire head, ending with scrutching the product into my ends. Then grab your difuser and blow dry your hair upside down on the medium heat setting. My dryer has cool, medium, and HOT heat settings and high and low blow settings. I use low blow with medium heat (unless I'm in a hurry). My turns out very curly with this process and gives my a thick feeling and look I wouldn't have otherwise. LOVE this product!!! Mess with it but don't use too much or you'll hate it.

I love this product and have been using it for several years. Before I am finished with one bottle, I go ahead and order another one to keep on hand so as not to ever run out. So I had this particular bottle for over a month before I opened and used it the first time. Just like always, I squirted the mousse into the palm of my hand before putting it in my hair. However, before I could even get it in my hair, the mousse disintegrated into a puddle of goopy liquid instead of a fluffy mousse. I still tried to use it in my hair and it became VERY stiff and unmoveable in my hair. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and the next time I washed my hair, thought I would give it another try. This time shaking the bottle relentlessly to make sure it was mixed well inside the can. To no avail. It seemed even worse this time. I still tried to put it in my hair (stupid me). I couldn't even get a comb through my hair. Maybe this was just a bad batch. But I was highly disappointed. It was past the date of returning, otherwise I would have sent it back. I will order it again and hopefully have the results like I am used to with this product.

I have a great hair day every day thanks to this product! When I first purchased the product, I did not like it. It made my hair stiff and shiny-looking - exactly what I didn't want. Then I read the reviews and realized I was using way too much. A little bit goes a long way with this stuff. Now I use less than the recommended amount and it makes my semi-wavy/frizzy hair have beautiful curls and beach waves that last all day. Don't give up on this product... It's awesome! I'll definitely be buying again.

I’ve only used this two times but I’m already so in love with it that I couldn’t wait to write this review. This is the product I’ve been searching for. I have thin hair that’s just below my shoulders. When I air dry it, it’s wavy and flat. With this mousse, it has more volume and great looking beachy twisty waves. I just put a small amount in damp hair, rub evenly throughout my hair, and scrunch up a little. Then I blow dry with my diffuser a bit, but not completely dry becuase I am lazy. I use less than a golf ball amount. More and it will be a bit crunchy. But with just that little amount it stays held all day. One side of my hair has little baby hairs that go wild, so I twisted those hairs into a curl right after diffusing and they stayed put like that. If your hair is like mine, I highly recommend trying this.

I had asked my hairdresser what she could recommend to help bring out my natural curl that appears non-existent over the last few years. She told me to try this because she loved it. I will tell you my experience from start to finish. To begin, I used to have a lot of hair & now it's thinning. This product significantly reduced the appearance of my thinning hair! I applied to wet hair (not damp) & scrunched in. I kept scrunching every few minutes over a couple of hours to help curl. When I use this product, I notice there's 1 spot in the back of my head that never feels completely dry. On certain days I use a hair dryer w/ diffuser to get that dryer feeling in that 1 spot. I will say, I cannot run my fingers through my hair when I use this. The texture is hard to explain - almost like my hair is knotted but it's definitely not. I can't even use a pick through the curls but it's OK because when they're dried, the curls ARE AMAZING! They last a couple of days. My ONE CONCERN: I am curious why the can instructions say: "Do not overuse." What does this mean? Why? The company should be VERY CLEAR on that. Is it going to make my hair thinner? Will it fall out? Is it going to dry out my hair? Define "over use" please. Does it mean that we shouldn't use daily or more than once a week? Does it mean that the chemicals it contains are toxic in amounts that exceed a certain # of uses? For this reason, I won't purchase another can. My health is most important. Why put such a vague warning. I've never seen any other brand of mousse put that disclaimer on it's product. It is a concern of mine, however, my thin & blah looking hair does look like gorgeous curly professionally done locks when I use this product. For anyone wondering, when I wash my hair with this product in it, it washes right out!

Brilliant product and fast delivery. Having naturally curly hair has always left me feeling frustrated but this mouse really enhances the curls and is well worth the extra money.

Ich benutze hauptsächlich für meine Haare die Produkte von MOROCCANOIL. Leider hat dieses Produkt nicht die versprechende Wirkung der Beach Waves.... Es ähnelt der Wirkung eines Schaumfestigers, welches die Haare voluminöser erscheinen lässt.

Se podría decir que estoy viciada a esta marca. Así que probé el "beach waves" porque quería las ondas en el pelo que me deja el agua del mar cuando me baño en verano, efectivamente lo consigue pero ojo, hay que echar muy poca cantidad y si se rebaja un poco humedeciendo la mano con agua mejor, porque no reseca tanto, ese es el único problema, lo usaba todos los días, lo dejaba secar al aire y queda genial, pero reseca, al día siguiente el pelo está mucho más seco, te obliga un poco a lavarlo siempre con mascarilla. Eso sí el resultado en mi caso, tal cual sirena saliendo del agua ;)...a la rica ondita de forma fácil y natural
