Provides Super Important Reflection
So interesting to see yourself in these different “modes”. This is a great book for reflection/introspection and personal growth and understanding why you are the way you are with these behaviours/negative thinking patterns. Can’t wait to finish the book!

Powerful book
It was recommended by my therapist. It is a power read if you are familiar or using Schema therapy.

Great book if CBT isn’t working well enough for your social anxiety.
This book made and is continuing to make a big difference in my social anxiety. Coupled with exposure therapy, this book is a game changer. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is great for a lot of things but it didn’t quite seem to help with the shame/embarrassment aspect of social anxiety the way schema therapy does. The key to having the success with this book is having the courage to revisit the most painful memories of your childhood. The one memory that you just want to forget and never think about: that is the memory that will bring you the most healing if you revisit it. ( whether it be exclusion, bullying or other traumas). So if CBT is just not cutting it for you for your social anxiety, try schema therapy like I did. You won’t regret it.
