Thyme in a 2oz plastic essential oil bottle Comes with pipette for your convenience Review: Good product & affordable - I do not have a lot of experience with essential oils, so take my review as you will. I think it is a great product and a very affordable way of getting in. Did some blends with different oils and I notice a difference when using it. Thyme is not my favorite scent, but the way it helps moods is worth it! Review: or maybe I received a bad one but it stinks to high heavens - I don't know what is up with this essential oil, or maybe I received a bad one but it stinks to high heavens. I am not easily grossed out by strange, unappealing smells but this one went straight up my nose and was inducing my gag reflexes. It smelled so strong and pungent, like a concoction of burned rubber, tar pit and some rotting meat. I really cannot use this! I am going to try a different brand of Thyme essential oil and hopefully it smells different from this. Update (06/12/2016): I have received another bottle of SUN WHITE THYME in the mail. Thank you to the company for hearing my complaint. Although it still is reminiscent of burned rubber, it is not revolting like the first bottle. I am assuming that the first bottle I received must have been spoiled in some way. This thyme oil has a very strong smell, and I think I am just not used to the smell. I am able to use it in my oil blend because I can now tolerate the smell. I have upgraded my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

Oil seems good; has no dropper or dropper insert
Have not used Thyme oil so not an expert on what it should smell like. Not offensive at all. My only complaint is that it does not come with a dropper nor does it have a dripper in the bottle which it makes it awkward getting it out in drops. All of the other oils I've gotten lately (a LOT) have droppers. I didn't/don't have extra droppers (and shouldn't have to go buy one) so had to use one from another bottle which isn't convenient since it's been in another oil. Keeping it though. Will have to keep an eye out for a dropper.

Worth trying Sun Organic Thyme
Being surrounded w. People having the flu & respiratory infections I'm following suggestions in The Healing Intelligence of Essential Oils by Kurt Schnaubelt, Ph.D. available at Amazon. Excerpt pg. 128, titled Massive Rub....." to apply essential oils by rubbing them on the torso, up to 2 ml (Approximately 40 to 50 drops) per session, up to five sessions per day. Essential oils especially suited for rubs to treat the flu are Eucalyptus radiate, Eucalyptus dives, Spike Lavender, and Thyme thuyanol...." I'm using Thyme & Eucalyptus. These oils have recognized properties based on observation. I use the plastic dropper included w. Sun Organic oils to transfer them into my own dropper bottles when making blends.

This arrived quickly in excellent condition, and it is a generous bottle
This arrived quickly in excellent condition, and it is a generous bottle. Got this as a home remedy to help stop snoring. I mix it with a lotion and put it on my feet as a website I saw recommended. The smell is very strong and it set off my (hay fever, ragweed) allergies the first night. Using less has helped, but I'm not sure if it still might be a problem with allergies - I'm still snoring! :/ Moral of the story - thyme oil is probably not recommended for those with hay fever/ragweed allergies. Will be looking for other uses for thyme oil.
