Kindly help us this scanner doesn't work It's required update or programming

Love it. Finally broke down and spent the money. I researched pretty good prior to buying and I am glad that I purchased this make and model. Used to program keys successfully on a 2007 Honda Odyssey. Beware, they Grey colored key does not have a chip so it will not program properly. The black key worked fine. It works well for scanning for trouble codes and diagnostic use.

After using it for a while, I can confidently say it’s one of the best investments I’ve made for my car repairs and diagnostics. I was initially skeptical too, but once I got my hands on it, I was impressed. I have wanted a scanner for a long time. A real long time. The good thing about waiting for something like this, is that the price keeps dropping and the features go up! It’s great! I like to do my own repairs - or as much as I can. Same with my wife’s car, the kids and some friends. It’s good to help others if you can. With this tool, you are able to look at more and more details of how different systems are working, and isolate those bits that aren’t. There is even a degree of two-way communication where you can trigger various motors and switches, to turn on and off. Again, helping you to find faults. Today, if I go to my dealership, the first thing they want to do, is scan the truck. For about $150CND. Why? Because we want to see what might be wrong. But is that not part of the job? Just because the dealership has an advanced tool that can look at the entire truck, do I need to help pay for it? I went in for break service one time - same thing. A $150 scan was going to be done. My standard mechanic use the scan tool with me, and we watch it together. Helps him with work and let’s me know about the small things that I can do. This tool allows you to do bypass that expense dealership or chain scan. Do it yourself. Now, it is just a tool. You still have to understand what it is telling you, and of course, how to fix it. But it go a long way to help. Why this one? I have two other Autel products - a simple code reader and a bore scope - and I like them both. If you spend a little time looking at various scanners, both Autel and this scope are highly rated. I am very pleased with this purchase. I am very pleased with Autel staff and support. (I called and asked a couple of questions before purchasing). All in all, I am really looking forward to spending some wrench time under a few cars this summer!
