I did not try it with cricket ball as it needs knocking but its really heavy and good for who doesn't have big swing. This grip quality is bit low and bottom of the grip temporarily stuck with the bat handle with electrical tape which comes out in first use . Its recommended to use another good quality grip on top of it else it will just slide up and come out.
