Would an InstaPot work in lieu of an autoclave?

Contrary wo what Landor Enterprises says, it does not have to reach 15psi. That's just a standard. There are numerous papers that have used biological tests to determine that an Instant Pot reaching 12-13psi is just as effective as a lab autoclave reaching 15psi. Yes, you can use an instant pot in lieu of an autoclave.

What is the composition of the nutrient agar? (ie. tryptone, yeast extract, salts, peptone....)

I don't have an autoclave, can you use a microwave? How to calculate how long? Also, how long does it last in a sealed container after mixed? Thanks!

We totally skipped the autoclave process and it begins to set up just fine, and works great for bacteria cultures. Just boil it and pour it.
