This machine went through 80,000 lbs of NHL plaster without trouble and is still going strong. It's built like a tank and is powerful enough to mix 3:1 and 2:1 sand/NHL without and 20,000 lbs of clay/sand mix without any trouble. The only thing I did was remove the grid at the outlet because the fiber in my mix would get caught in the screen. On a side note, get the Colomix water dispenser. It will make adding water easy and consistent (no measuring with buckets) It is also good to premix some of the sand/lime before adding water. Then add additional mix. If you are dealing with Clay, you have to be careful not to add too much water too fast, or it will just spin as a solid block until the water is fully absorbed. Once you have your sequence down it is repeatable and consistent.
