CASE-MATE PELICAN - SHIELD Series - G10 Case for iPhone 12 Mini (5G) - 21 ft Drop Protection - 5.4 Inch - Gray

Love this phone case. If you have trouble with dust/lint in charging port, this stops it. It is incredibly durable, I’ve dropped my phone a number of times to no ill effect. It does still work with wireless chargers, though it is thick enough that you need to have it laying flat on the charger. (Otherwise the magnet doesn’t hold) If you use the charging port to charge, the flap will eventually break off, that happened to me after about 2.5 years, but I immediately bought a replacement one which I use to this day. If you don’t love the clear case, it’s easy to print a photo and cut it to size and store it in the back so it looks like you have a cool design.

Unfortunately this case does not work well with MagSafe because the MagSafe charger will not stick to the phone but thankfully will still charge it. Other than that, this is an incredible case! The feel and textured back is very nice and the case fits around the phone perfectly. The picture does not do this case justice. The clear one looks sexy on the new iPhone!!

Sturdy case that protects your phone. It works as it says it will. Phone is protected and case is easy to put on. Worth the cost of a good case to protect a phone.

First I want to say that I swear by Case-Mate. It's the only brand product that I let my family use for their iPhones. We drop our phones constantly and have never had a break with a Case-Mate. I had an iPhone 6s with a black iPhone Tough case, and used the same case for just short of 5 years. One of the corners chipped a little but the iPhone Tough case was amazingly strong and held up for long time despite the abuse my phone gets. I finally replaced my iPhone 6s with a iPhone 12 mini. I chose this particular Pelican case because it was the only case that I could find from Case-Mate that was in all black. They don't seem to make the Tough in black anymore. (Note that the Case-Mate Tough is a two layer case while Pelican is a one layer case). I also bought it because it was highly rated against drops. So far so good. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the sides of the phone are looser than than are with the Tough, and I'm not sure if it will hold up as well. It's still a really good case but just doesn't feel quite as strong. I would give this 4 and a half stars if I could, but I just can't quite give it 5 stars since it's just not as snug around the phone as the previous Case-Mate that I had.

I purchased this for my iPhone 13 mini and am very happy so far. I upgraded from a 12 mini to a 13 mini a few weeks ago and at first I used the same Pelican Protector case that I had for my 12 mini; however, I dropped my new 13mini from about waist height on a tile floor and the screen protector got a hairline crack. Thankfully no damage to my new phone; however I decided to protect my $600 investment with a hardier case. The Pelican Shield seems to definitely provide added protection. The main difference is that the Shield is rated for a 21 foot drop test (vs 15 for the Protector series) and the Shield case is also thicker and has a higher lip around the case - providing more screen protection.

Drop protection, durability, and lanyard are great! I just don’t get the point of this product if it’s suppose to protect against the elements if dust is getting into the case after a couple weeks. Who knows if it will hold up to the other claims the description advertises.

Having used Pelican cases for my photo gear, I was looking forward to their Ranger case as a replacement for my original Peak. Unfortunately it was heavy and fit extremely poorly, did not surround the iPhone securely, and impeded use of both the iPhone buttons and MagSafe charger. An inferior product from Pelican.

I really like the style of this case and the protection it provides but after 4 months it’s falling apart. The back material is starting to peel off from one of the bottom corners.

思っていたより格好いい。画面側のフチもしっかりしていて、長く使っても耐えられそう。 追記 2022/12/28 2階から道に落としてしまって「終わった。。。」と思いつつ拾ったら画面が割れてなくて、非常にビックリ。当たりどころが良かったのかもだけど、感動した。 数年経って、経年劣化でバンドの文字が消えたり、バンドの根本が取れたり（アロンアルファで修理）、持ち手部分の両端がはがれ始めたりしましたが、今回思い入れがあるので再度買い直します。ありがとうペリカン！

ずっとマグプルのケースを使用していました。12に対応しているケースは未発売のため似たようなケースを探していたところ発見!カモフラもオシャレで握り心地も良いです。ミルスペックの頑丈なケースです。とても気におりました。ペリカンというブランドも好きです

ケース事態は気に入りました かなりしっかりしてます ただ音量ボタンが上手く噛み合わず何度かつけ外ししました 少々厄介でした コツがいるようです

iPhone5sからPelican社製のiPhoneケースを愛用してきました。 当初はVualtシリーズやMarineシリーズなど堅牢すぎるモデルを使用していましたが、防水や耐衝撃など安全性能は高いものの通話時の音のこもりや放熱効率の悪さなどから段々比較的簡素なVoyagerシリーズにシフト。Voyagerシリーズ付属のホルダー兼スタンドなども当初は便利がって使っていましたが、嵩張るため結局使わなくなり、今回は機種変更に合わせてこのProtecterシリーズに。 過去の機種では幾度となく落としたりしてきましたが一度も画面割れや故障することなく機種変更するまで使えており、偏にPelican社製ケースのお陰ではないかと。 同社の製品の保護性能は米軍の採用例などからも実証されている通り群を抜いており、画面に直接強い衝撃が加わらない限りは安心かと思っています。
