So, you have a box that has to hold 4 long tile stands. A long rectangular space in which to store all the tiles, and someone decides a square pull string bag is a good idea??

QUALITY: nice set without being ridiculously expensive. The pieces are well made and marked, the brief instructions easy to read and interpret, and the stands are plastic but solid enough that wear and tear shouldn't be a problem. Only minor complaints I have are that they are super-light, so that if playing on a polished wood table for example, they tend to slide around easily if you bump them. Would suggest adding some type of light weighting inside. The other minor snafu is one of the stands was missing one of its endcaps, but this was brand new (shrink-wrapped outer box and tiles box inside) so it was just a fluke, not a case of getting a game someone else returned item. Avoid the third party (Chinese) knock-off sets, as sometimes they ship with non-standard numbers of tiles, overly-complicated and poorly written instructions (AI). Basically, if it's not from Pressman (the authorized publisher), don't buy it. GAMEPLAY: this is an easy-to-learn and fun game that has a mix of simple tactics (calling it "strategy" is a stretch) and luck-of-the-draw to keep it interesting. The scoring takes some getting used to (points count positive towards the winner AND negative towards the losers — example: for players A-D, if A ends with 10 points worth of tiles, B 15 points, and C, 15 points, while D has none (winner for the round), the scores are -10, -15, -15, and +40). This means the individual totals can fluctuate pretty wildly, so best to set a threshold score based on number of people playing, otherwise it can go on quite a long time. Enjoy!
