I am a training coordinator for my company, I am the one that listens to all the calls 'for training purposes', but I also take overflow calls when we're busy. I had 1 headset for the phone and another to listen to recorded calls on my computer. This is awesome!! It plugs into the headset port and into a USB port. I am using windows 10 and it immediately recognized this unit and set it as default sound device. all I did was unplug my headphone from the headphone port on the front of the computer. I called a coworker and set up the switches on the back. There is a streaming switch which when on lets me listen to whatever I want without having to manually move the switch on the top of the unit. Again I called a co-worker and they could not hear the stream only me. I have had some YouTube-worthy moments before with my cords getting tangled up when trying to switch when my phone rang. This has ended all those problems. I have a Cisco phone and we already used the Jabra headsets.

I'm a remote interpreter and take calls over a landline and through the computer. Since I am usually logged into both modes, I need to be able to switch my headset connection from one to the other quickly to accept the call. An incredible pain in the neck! With this device I'm logged into both and simply toggle switch between telephone and computer to take the call. As a bonus, it's an audio processor so calls are also clearer. One caveat, this unit is only compatible with Jabra headsets. Plantronics headsets will not work.

I bought this to replace a 20 year old amp that had served me well. I've now had this for several months and it works very well. The adjustable volume helps with calls from people that are soft spoken, vs. others who are loud. My hearing isn't as good as it was, but the build-in sound conditioning cleans up the audio and improves my comprehension. Completely satisfied.

Reviewing this in 2025. I use this on a VOIP phone that I was using in the office. It’s great for quickly putting yourself on mute and I had it connected to my desktop as well so I was able to use the same headset instead of switching. I don’t even know if they make these things anymore so I won’t be giving mine away. It works great.
