Snake Bites
Bought because of the try before you buy deal for 7 days offered by Amazon. Dan Post boots were beautiful, comfortable, and made of great quality that match my Tecovas at half the price. I usually buy a size 12 wide width but these came size 12 D . The leather quality of the shaft was soft enough and wide enough to accommodate my prosthetic leg. I bought immediately and thinking about a second pair.

Boots came used.
So my boots came in the mail today. As I opened the Amazon box up, I immediately noticed the Dan Post box inside looked beat up. I didn’t think much about it, I just thought the boots must have been tossed around during the delivery process. As soon as I took the boots out of the box, I noticed the bottoms of the boots had obviously been worn before. I thought maybe they just have a “weathered” look but then I noticed the rubber heel even had dirt and debris struck in them. Definitely upsetting. With that being said, the boots do have a nice look to them and definitely feel like they were made very well. I just assumed coming from Dan Post that the company wouldn’t send out a shoe that had been walked around in as if it were brand new. Had it not been for the bottoms of the boot being worn I would have to say these boots are very comfortable and built great, I just am a little upset that they tried to pull a “fast one” on me.
