This foaming cleanser really does leave my skin feeling clean and fresh. It doesn’t dry out my skin but I always follow up with a moisturizer.It has a green, fresh scent but honestly I’d prefer if it were fragrance-free as this is always best for sensitive skin types.I like that the price is affordable and it does what it says. I also appreciate that the ingredients are gentle and it’s rated ‘Good’ on Yuka.

Very good facial cleanser, works well and non-greasy

I’m in my late 20’s and still dealing with the occasional breakout, so I was looking for a cleanser that could prevent and treat acne while being gentle enough for my adult skin - especially in the winter. My acne typically responds well to salicylic acid, but a lot of the cleansers I used when I was younger are way too harsh now.To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of foaming washes in general. I’ve always felt like they didn’t actually clean my face well enough. But this one surprised me. The “slip” and lather it has is closer to a gel cleanser in terms of how effectively it cleans, but it leaves my skin soft and hydrated instead of tight and dry. My face feels clean but not stripped, which is a rare balance to find.Oh, and the smell is amazing. It’s light but refreshing.If you’re looking for a cleanser that’s effective on adult acne without being too harsh, this is it. Highly recommend for anyone with sensitive or acne-prone skin, especially if you’ve been burned (literally or figuratively) by harsher products in the past.
