OK, at first this was a little hard to use after using a tape measure but once you get the hang of it then it works much better than a tape measure. If you play a lot of Bocce this is a must have tool. Much faster to use than a tape measure.

My brother just installed a Bocce court in his backyard. We enjoy playing the game; however, when it comes to which team gets the point, this device makes a clear decision.

It is effective, and easy to use. The design is clever.

Device is pretty expensive considering the rudimentary technology. Release/lock button is not crisp in its compression or release. Also, the metal tape has no calibration so the only use for it is to take a distance measure, lock in the length (see earlier comment about how "iffy" that locking effort feels) and move over the next ball. In all, not a great value or method. Also, maybe it's just me but I think the calipers are curved the wrong direction, inward rather than outward.

Very stiff and difficult to extend and retract. Very disappointed in the quality of this measuring device.

Very handy and useful. Sturdy and easy to use. Has prevented several in the family murders !!!!!!LAUGH OUT LOUD
