Installation was a bit harder for me than in the tutorials. I have the exact same model number but it’s a newer volume. But if I can do it, you can too! I included a picture of the back shell and how it looks up front. The shell has a sandy texture which adds a bit more grip and has a cute color 👍🏻

Pink one would not fit with Sony OEM JDM-055 top shell, or eXtremeRate’s own top shells. Also had a blue bottom case and that one fit just fine, seems like this one was just warped. Unfortunately for me, I only realized it after the return window closed. Be warned! Do a fit check upon delivery! UPDATE: After my review, I received a message from the seller, "play different". They offered to send me a replacement shell, which they absolutely didn't need to. The seller definitely went above and beyond with customer service. Because of this, I've changed my review from one star to four stars. The service was definitely five stars, but because the first shell was defective, and made me go through all of this in the first place, I had to only give four. Product itself is fine, when it works!

The quality is pretty okay, the plastic does feel a bit thinner than the oem ds4 shell, however that doesnt mean that it feels cheap. The quality is nice and allows for a bit more custom freedom than standard shells, especially if youre buying more than just one mod from xtreme rate

Good quality replacement plastic body, needed a little sanding to make fit about 95% correct. 1 of the circuit board alignment posts were broken off in the package but was an easy fix. Hardest part was splitting the factory Sony body apart to install, just be patient and use a different plastic tool that what comes with it as the tool is too soft to pry the 2 halves apart
